How to change the resolution over 1280x1024

For some reasons, the resolutions settings in my game stuck at 1280x1024. I could not set it higher, no matter how I tried, but I found a solution to fix this this issue.
The solution
In order to set the resolution higher than 1280x1024, you need to mess with the registry editor a littlebit.

  • Press WIN+R and type in regedit
  • Go to
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Telltale Games\JPGraphics
    or
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Telltale Games\JPGraphics
  • The modification you are looking for is ResX and ResY. Change it to what you need (IE your native resolution)
  • Launch the game and now it should launch in the correct resolution. For me it also fixed the bug which did not let me go above 1280x1024.
