Introduction
So you want to ditch the usual TTT tutorial and learn a bit more of the basics eh? Well you have made the right choice. This guide should give you a better understanding than the usual Trouble in Terrorist Town tutorial.
Your Objectives
Innocent Terrorist and Detectives
For these guys, it's your job to find out who the traitor is and Kill him. Innocent terrorists (and Traitors) can gain basic clues off dead bodies like: How they died, what weapon was used to kill him/her, when was he/she killed and a hitlist of who the person killed before he/she died.

Detectives have a bonus! They have an extra piece of equipment called a DNA Scanner. Detectives can get DNA samples off dead bodies (before the DNA deteriorates) and a marker leads to the killer. Detectives can also see who last saw the dead body, once they find out, it's up to the Detective to decide whether the person who last saw him is a Traitor or an Innocent bystander.

Traitors
There are a small number of these guys and they need to kill every Innocent terrorist without being caught, even Detectives! They need to take everyone out, except their colegues and win the game that way, but this needs to be done with precision and even stealth!
Karma/Equipment
Karma
Karma is basically a damage metre only it's on a big scale. If you kill any of your team mates, whether it was an accident or not, your karma will drop and you'll give less damage the next round. If you do make your karma drop however, if you avoid killing your team mates for the next rounds to come, you will gain your karma back to 1000. So what ever you do, try not to kill your friends.

Equipment
Here is the catch with equipment. Only Detectives and Traitors can buy equipment. At the start of the round, all Detectives and Traitors will be given 2 credits to spend on equipment. Detectives can buy supportive equipment while Traitors can buy equipment to sabotage other Innocent terrorists. You can access the equipment shop menu by pressing 'C.'
You got it!
So that's pretty much all you need to know about Trouble in Terrorist Town. Try giving me feedback on what you have learnt from this guide if you're new to the gamemode and tell me what you think. I can be reached at my steam page so please let me know about what you think. So get out there, have fun and remember, if you are a Traitor, lie to the Innocent and try befriending them. Watch out terrorists!
