Puzzle Master | Achievement Guide
By cheatscom
This is statistically the hardest achievement to obtain in this game, so if you're struggling to get the achievement this guide will help you walk through the process of getting it.

Achievement Information
Just a heads up - While this guide won't spoil the ending scenario to the level, it will show screenshots from it and provide the solutions to the puzzles. I would recommend at least playing through the game first, and coming back to this guide if you're still struggling on this achievement.

The description of this achievement is listed as: "All those videogames I played were useful for something!", which unfortunately isn't very helpful for obtaining this achievement.

However, we are able to figure out what level this achievement is in from the colour of the achievement image:

So by comparing this from the characters in all the rooms, we can see that the 'dark green' characters are in the "Discrimination Scenario Room":

All of these characters have a puzzle of some sort in their respective scenarios, however the closest one to an actual puzzle is the Kid's scenario (the one on the left in all the rooms). The 'Puzzle Master' achievement is in this level, and below will explain how to obtain it.
Obtaining the achievement
Now that we know the achievement is the Kid's discrimination scenario, we need to enter this level and work through the puzzles.

For this achievement, it requires you to solve all 4 puzzles in the minimum amount of moves, so it's understandable that players may struggle with this as this all has to be done in sequence, i.e. if you figured out how to solve level 3 in the minimum amount of moves, you would also have to follow it up in level 4 or else it won't count.

Onto the guide, you will start out in the cinema bathroom and need to make your way outside, where you will see 2 different people and small cutscene transition takes place, where the man on the left turns into Plasma-Boy and the one on the right turns into a Monster.

You will then be taken to the first level, which incidentally is the first puzzle you need to solve. For each level, there will include a picture of the buttons you need to press and in what order, I have also included a text description in case that is easier.

Fantasy Level

  1. Button by the starting platform
  2. Button out to the left

Wild West Level

  1. Lever out to the left
  2. Lever far out near the end platform
  3. Lever out to the left

Sci-Fi Level

  1. Switch furthest out to the right
  2. Switch that is midway out to the end platform

Pirate

  1. Wheel closest to the starting platform
  2. Wheel diagonally across from the one you just pressed
  3. Wheel that is midway out to the end platform
  4. Wheel furthest out to the right
  5. Wheel closest to the starting platform
After you have spun the wheel on the final level, the achievement should pop up! You can then proceed to the end and make your choice between leaving with Plasma-Boy or the Monster.
Notes
  • The achievement message should appear after the final platform has moved on the last level before making the decision at the end of the level. If it doesn't appear then you will need to retry the stage from the hub menu, when playing through make sure to check the order you move the platforms as making 1 mistake means you will have to restart.
  • I'm not sure if falling off of the platforms counts as "failing" the puzzle as all it seems to do is reset your position, I made sure not to fall off any of the platforms when I solved the puzzles just in case.
  • There may be alternate solutions to the Sci-Fi and Pirate levels, this guide just uses the minimum button press order that I found to work.

Now go ahead and enjoy playing through the rest of the game if you haven't already, it may not have been everyone's cup of tea but I certainly enjoyed my time playing through so far. Thank you for reading!
