hints and tactics
game is very grindy. you will spend half of time in replaying previous levels to get extra golds for further upgrades of your units and cards. you have been warned
  • game is random-heavy. even if your party is max upgraded but you have no good cards - you can do nothing here. sometimes you will fruitlessly replay the same level for 10 times, but then suddenly you will beat the level effortlessly because of good card rolls
  • the main tactic is to spam the melee units, especially tanky ones with tons of health and defense - and then spam archers and warlocks (both will hide behind fighters' back and will shoot enemies with arrows and heal your party from the safe distance)
  • bomb is the must. probably the best thing in the whole game. with 3-5 bombs in a short row you can destroy enemy wave and proceed further with no issues
  • friendly-fire bomb pretty much oneshots archers and warlocks, be careful
  • enemies coming behind the barricade and faster you will destroy it the better. on some level boss or a certain mob group appear only few seconds later in the wave, and if you managed to destroy the barricade before their arrival then you will eventually just skip them
  • items (God Finger, Bugle, Arrow Volley, Spartan Soul, Boulder) are not really worth it, but each of them gives you few extra seconds, so you may buy them and spam for easy and handy seconds

getting 3-stars rating
in order to get a 3-stars rating you have to get a require score for the level. the following items will increase your score
  • every single second left after level's end
  • clicking cards
  • killing enemies
  • killing frozen enemies
so, in order to get cards for the most maps, basically, you need to finish the level as quick as possible (return to previous maps with upgraded units to make things easier). rushing the level fast enough saves lots of seconds which will inflate a score greatly. if you have trouble with getting enough free seconds then buy and use some items - every each of it gives you 3 or 5 bonus second, so spamming, say, 5 Bugles in the one level gives you 25 extra seconds

the hardest part is 4th world. some of level require 1,000,000+ score in order to get 3-stars rating. for those levels you HAVE to use a Frozen card to immobilize enemies and then let your army to kill them. it is hard given that a Frozen card doesn't appear often and your army may not kill frozen enemies in time. in that case you need to spam A LOT of archers - they kill frozen enemies effortlessly. also in those levels you probably will need to use a Trick card against your units to make them fall back from enemies in order to give your few extra seconds to find and click a Frozen card
units
PEASANTS
  • max ATK: 40
  • max DEF: 8
  • max HP: 780
  • max SPD: 4
  • max CRI: 15%
  • odd: 33%
absolutely not worthy. as far as you unlock next units you will never return back to peasants. do not upgrade them. at all

SWORDSMEN
  • max ATK: 60
  • max DEF: 12
  • max HP: 1700
  • max SPD: 3.3
  • max CRI: 8%
  • odd: 30%
must have. right until the end of the game you will use those units ever now and then: you will either use them as a cheap rush force or will put them into your army to comply the level's odd requirement.

SERGEANT SWORDSMEN
  • max ATK: 86
  • max DEF: 15
  • max HP: 2200
  • max SPD: 3.2
  • max CRI: 20%
  • odd: 20%
basically the same Swordsmen, only better in every single category. not that important, to be honest, and you can mostly skip it and save money for the next unit

ARMORED SWORDSMEN
  • max ATK: 118
  • max DEF: 20
  • max HP: 3500
  • max SPD: 3
  • max CRI: 18%
  • odd: 16%
like a Swordsmen and Sergeant Swordsmen, only even better. the main feature of that unit is lots of health and great defense, which make him a great human shield that protects Archers, Warlocks and Wizards and just annoys the enemies. must have

ROYAL GUARDS
  • max ATK: 453
  • max DEF: 35
  • max HP: 19005
  • max SPD: 3
  • max CRI: 8%
  • odd: 8%
a great unit with unprecedentedly high health, defense and attack. as soon as you unlock him (in the 4th world) immediately start upgrading him

PIKEMEN
  • max ATK: 188
  • max DEF: 6
  • max HP: 478
  • max SPD: 3.1
  • max CRI: 12%
  • odd: 20%
absolutely unworthy. comparing to Swordsmen they have too little health & defense, making them easy target to enemies. it will die before even being able to attack. forget about it and never upgrade

EAGLE WARRIOR
  • max ATK: 415
  • max DEF: 20
  • max HP: 720
  • max SPD: 3.5
  • max CRI: 8%
  • odd: 16%
a better version of Pikemen that now fully worth it - good defense and attack makes them a main damage-dealers in first half of the game and a good damage-sponge in the end

FEUDAL KNIGHTS
  • max ATK: 530
  • max DEF: 12
  • max HP: 1500
  • max SPD: 5
  • max CRI: 18%
  • odd: 10%
sure it deals lots of damage, but as with Pikemen, it really doesn't matter because it will be killed. don't waste your time and gold on them. also that odd is too low

ROYAL KNIGHTS
  • max ATK: 818
  • max DEF: 20
  • max HP: 3598
  • max SPD: 5
  • max CRI: 10%
  • odd: 8%
a better version if Feudal Knights that suffers from the same issues - too much damage, too little defense; but that one unit requires absurdly amount of gold for upgrading, making it even less worthy

ARCHERS
  • max ATK: 142
  • max DEF: 6
  • max HP: 410
  • max SPD: 3.6
  • max CRI: 0%
  • odd: 26%
absolutely must. the thing is that archers will deal more damage than any other your unit and because their are hiding behind your fighters' back, they don't require any defense or health upgrade, just boost their attacks

WIZARD
  • max ATK: 1501
  • max DEF: 6
  • max HP: 539
  • max SPD: 3
  • max CRI: 0%
  • odd: 8%
they like a better version of the archers, but because of how low their odd is and how far into the game you get them, you will not actively use it (if you will at all). forget about them

WARLOCK
  • max HEAL: 398
  • max DEF: 8
  • max HP: 910
  • max SPD: 3
  • max CRI: 0%
  • odd: 12%
the only healers in the game and that means a lot. it hides behind your fighter's back, so only healing stat and speed is worth upgrading
other upgrades
CHARIOT HP
  • max HP: 20000
not worthy at all. if enemies come close to your chariot it is a gameover, no matter how much health it has

CHARIOT TIME
  • max TIME: 0.5
that upgrade means how much seconds should pass before you can click a card (when it becomes clickable) and it is a great thing ti upgrade that stat as soon as possible. the last upgrade require 30,000 which is very expensive and probably you need to wait until the 4th world

ITEM GOD FINGER
  • max ATK: 460
  • max TIME: 9
  • gives SECONDS: 3
forget about that card and use it only to get easy seconds. first, it barely works on PC (maybe on mobile it works better?), second, using of that item requires you to stop looking on card rolls and concentrate your attention on battlefield, which greatly ruins the passing and timing

ITEM BUGLE
  • max SPD: 90%
  • max TIME: 7
  • gives SECONDS: 5
quite an effective item (given they all are universally lame). it makes your army move faster which helps in some extreme cases like when enemies almost wiped out your melee fighter and about to kill the archers and you need to make new fighters to move faster to protect them

ITEM ARROW VOLLEY
  • max ATK: 480
  • gives SECONDS: 3
not worthy, overly. it deals damage to enemies but that damage is stupidly low (in the 4th world enemies have about 4,000 HP). it is good, however, in the first half of the game as AoE skill but even there a maxed-out bomb deals 600 points of damage comparing to that item's 480

ITEM SPARTAN SOULS
  • max ATK: 90%
  • max TIME: 7
  • gives SECONDS: 5
probably the best item among all of them. max powered Spartan Souls almost doubles the attack power of your units which is great in some tight situations like boss fights

ITEM BOULDER
  • max ATK: 12800
  • gives SECONDS: 3
in it s great item on the paper - a giant boulder moves from the left to the right damaging all enemies heavily, but it has lots of downsides: moves too slow and the moment of "impact" with foes is hard to predict. it is good however as a panic button when enemies almost wiped out your army and you need to protect a chariot

CARD GOLD
  • max GOLD: 55
you main source of income. don't upgrade it further then "max gold 45" though, because last two upgrades require too much gold and return of investments will take a while

CARD BOMB
  • max ATK: 600
you main source of AoE damage. relevant right to the end of the game

CARD BACKUP
  • max SOLDIERS: 7
gives you extra soldiers for free - 7, to be precise, at the last level. incredibly great card

CARD FROZEN
  • max TIME: 6
freezes enemies for good, gives you a room to attack them freely. some enemies cannot be frozen, but that card still great nonetheless
general walktrough
1st world (levels 1-16)
  • play until the level 5 without upgrading anything. you will unlock a Gold card
  • upgrade a Gold Card as much as possible with saved gold
  • GRIND TIME! replay level 5 in order to get the following
    • Gold Card - level 4 (should give you 45 gold per use)
    • Bomb Card - level 4
    • Chariot Time - level 2 (should be 0,9 seconds)
    • Archers - damage maximum or almost maximum (yes, the sooner you will do it the better)
    • Swordsmen - all stats level 2-3, speed - maximum
    • Sergeant Swordsmen - attack level 2-3, speed - maximum

2nd world (levels 17-32)
  • Bomb Card - level 5
  • Archers - damage maximum (if you didn't do it yet)
  • Swordsmen - all stats level 3-4, speed - maximum
  • Eagle Warrior - all stats level 2-3, speed - maximum
  • Warlock - heal 2-4, speed - maximum
  • Armored Swordsmen - HP and defense maximum or almost maximum

3rd world (levels 33-48)
that is the hardest part of the game
  • Gold Card - level 5 (should give you 50 gold per use)
  • Bomb Card - maximum
  • Backup Card - maximum
  • Chariot Time - level 3 (should be 0,7 seconds)
  • Swordsmen - all stats maximum
  • Eagle Warrior - all stats level 5-6
  • Warlock - heal 4-6
  • Armored Swordsmen - all stats maximum

4th world (levels 49-64)
  • Frozen Card - maximum
  • Chariot Time - maximum (should be 0,5 seconds)
  • Eagle Warrior - all stats maximum
  • Warlock - heal maximum
  • Royal Guard - HP and defense maximum or almost maximum
  • any other units and stats - depend on your preferences and level's requirements
