So first of all is this is your first time I will explain the basics and rules you must always follow to save yourself from getting banned! :P

ROLES
There are 3 roles Traitor,Detective,Innocent.

Innocent is the most common and more boring role as this role you are supposed to kill all the traitors but there is a trick you must only kill if you are completely certain they are traitors or they do traitorous acts. Traitorous acts include: Killing an inncent or detective, Carrying or walking past an unidentifed body (Traitors always know how many people are alive and who are dead so identifing a body wont help them in anyway), Refusing to get in t tester although you can not kos for this (Kill On Sight) but you can set them as extremely sus by saying it in chat and pressing Tab and pressing his name then suspect, this will make whenever you see his name say suspect underneath him. Remeber to only kill if you are completely sure otherwise you might get slayed or banned :P

Traitor is the second most common and most fun role as this role you are supposed to kill all the innocents and detectives but must remain hidden and use stealth to your advantage as you are blatantly outnumbered a target for each traitors should be arround 4 kills as everyone 4 innocent create 1 traitor, so you will be doing your team your job. A important essential to this role is the c equipment role, this will allowed you to purchase traitor only weapons but be careful as holding one of these weapons is extremely traitorous also remember not to brutally murder your t buddies :P.

Detective is the least common and second most fun role, in this role your job is to use your special equipment to find out who the traitors are you also have the c equipment menu but is not as loaded and good as the traitos, the main part of your job is your dna scanner which will allow you to scan innocent's bodies to get dna to the enemy this will point a green dna icon to where the enemy was exactly when the last scan this will help you greatly to track down the traitors. KARMA

So are you on a server, no admins on and your like :D I can get away with rdm, well sorry to say but gmod has their own rdm managment system called karma its pretty simple, do the right thing earn karma but if you do bad stuff you will be punished brutally with a damage penalty, so dont think you can get away with rdming and/or shooting your teamates :D!

DNA SCANNER

What makes me facepalm the most about this game is the people that can't actually use the dna scanner so its pretty simple, you go to a body with dna, the body will eventaully lose the dna and you pick your dna scanner up and you left click it. You should then hear a beep and there on your screen you will see a little dna signal, try as hard as you can to get to that position then wait till it beeps again, if your absolutely sure that it leads to sombody you are allowed to kill them! (Just make sure you dont get dna off a traitor's body :P)

C4

Ahh C4, it can be really dangerous or it could bite you in the back :P. But anyway c4 is a traitor only weapon that you can place and it will detonate on the time you set it on but be warned an innocent could easily walk up to your c4 and defuse then they could take it or even get a detectve to use his dna scanner to make it lead back up to you, the one which placed it :P so think carefully when placing it also quick tip. When you set it to 45s that means 5 out of 6 wires will make the c4 not explode and defuse it properly but if you set it to 10mins it will make 5 out of 6 wires explode the c4 so... just a tip.
