Introduction
Pets are monsters that you can catch to help you fight. Their level will start at the level you caught them and they will level up whenever you fight with them. You can also increase the level of your pets using Super Candy which can be purchased in the Market or aquired by giving clovers to the mushroom in the Museum.

There are 11 pets available and you will get Trophies by catching 3 (Bronze), 8 (Silver) and 11 (Gold).

How to catch them

In order to catch your pets you will need to buy a Flute from the Market after it is unlocked.

Then you will have to buy books in the Market that show you how to catch a specific type of monster. These will appear in the bookshelf at the Museum.

MOSKITO BOLERO (used to catch Moskito and Mostingo).

MOLE AFTERBEAT (used to catch Mole and Dark Mole).

MUSHY MAMBO (used to catch Wild Mushy).

STUMPS ECHOES (used to catch Stumpy).

BAT'UCADA (used to catch Zuby).

BARKING IN F# MINOR (used to catch Woulfy and Snoofy).

TURGON BOOGIE (used to catch Turgon).

KRAB JIG (used to catch Krab).

After this, all you have to do is enter a fight that has the monster you want to catch and use the flute (located in the bottom right, to the left of your skills. Can also be used by pressing "4").

Then play the tune (sequence of keys) specific to that monster 3 times (you will have to wait for your turn so be careful not to kill it). Also, make sure to be fast because you only have ~4 seconds to play the flute.

Stats and Abilities
Pets in this game all have the same Health, but their Power differs and some even have Special Attacks. For this part i used the values from all pets at level 350 since i don't know the formula used to calculate Health and Power, but the scaling is the same for every level.

Pets' attacks will alternate between their normal attack and their special attack (if they have one).

Considering that the Base Power is 596,716:

Zuby

Health: 3,462,256

Power: 397,811 (0.66(6) x Base Power)

Special Attack: Reduces enemy power by 50% (3 turns)

Krab

Dark mole deals significantly less damage than Snoofy, because his dmg stat is lower. Turgon deals as much damage in every attack, as dark mole deals when performing his special. On top of that, turgon is immune to fire.

It's not necessary to be at a specific location to catch a pet. You can catch any pet in ANY encounter where it's in the line-up - with the exception of boss level encounters (where the potential pet is a boss).

The map is great! The only issue is the Woulfy location isn't on "Scarlet Wolf" as the line points to, but is in "Into The Hills".

@Creperator, for raw damage - Snoofy. However, other good options are: Turgon (second best raw damage + fire resistance), Mostingo (small damage, but every other attack applies poison), Wild Mushy (small damage, but can poison and regenerate) and Zuby (small damage, but can greatly reduce enemies' damage). The rest is pretty much useless.

Stumps Echos is a reference to the Lost Woods song from Zelda Ocarina of Time

I think you should also mention resistances, like how Snoofy is resistant against lightning attacks

Pewien, from my testing at the time, that wasn't the case, i'm pretty sure you could get multiple specials in a row. But i tested it now and you're right, it's every second attack. Maybe they changed that in a later update idk, thanks for the correction.
