Description
Space Station "Tiber" is a compact and practical orbital facility for a crew of 6. It's handy for short-term orbital presence where artificial gravity is not required.

The idea is inspired by the Freedom Space Station by Edward.

Pure stock, no mods, no DLCs. 128 parts, root part is the Mk1 lander can.

Key Features
- Small, light and modular: fits into a slightly expanded 2.5m faring with all modules, weighing only 15t.
- Has basic orbital science instruments in the science and communication module.
- 3 x 0.625m docking port and 2 x 1.25m docking port.
- Fulfills most station contract requirements.
- Fully functional RCS. Sometimes it's even better to maneuver the station towards the incoming craft, such as heavy fuel tanks.

ES-96 PYTHON cargo spaceplane
ES-94+ DART II passenger spaceplane
ESN-104 LEOPARD multi-role spaceplane
TEMPEST robotic arm unit for potential upgrade. Another proposal is to install it on the airlock (Mk1 lander can).

Sweet, this is now on my short list if I ever decide to use community-created vessels. I'd probably reverse-engineer it once I had it in the VAB, but the design principles are clearly well ahead of what I can come up with!

Thank you, I'm glad to hear that, and kudos to Edward for the original idea!
I'm working on an updated version with more decorative details as an alternative, but I can't publish that until the super-soft docking port issue gets fixed, hopefully in 1.12.2...

100% my most used station in the game. not only is it simple, but it feels like it would be a real station you would see IRL. best of all, it also has the optional launcher to go with it. by far one of the best. Keep up the awesome work! the only thing i end up changing is sometimes, ill forgo the little com array on the bottom, and ill use that central docking port as an expansion hub, and then attach either the included coms, or a coms array that i assemble. otherwise it flies as its packaged.

Undock that part, switch to it, then rotate/dock it like it's another spacecraft. Or do you mean something else?
