you can add this to this guide if you wish,
but while messing with my audio sources instead of just swapping to them, I DISABLED THEM, not just audio output but input as well, I started with low priority things first,
ex. webcam, no longer used audio drivers, display outputs and it worked
i havent narrowed down which cause the problem directly but this seemed to be my fix, an audio driver issue
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
gave the audio source a few different swaps including disabling and enabling everything but my headphones and nothing worked
I'll give the audio source swap a try with something like my monitor or VR headset
1. I don't see the hardware.## file in the directed folder, and it doesnt get added on reinstall or file verify, so i dont know whats happening there, might actually be the root cause of my problems if im honest
2. What do you mean by "change audio device"? Like just change where my audio comes from?
I've tried reinstalling both Direct X and C++ packages multiple times with no result, but I'll keep trying to see if it works
