We post process on future characters and stuff there

Atop the tallest mountain in the land sits an ominous tower ensconced in a volcanic krag, its silhouette illuminated with fire and RGB lighting. The rainbow progresses from one color to the next as a challenger approaches. The nigh impossible climb punctuated with the slow opening of the massive oak doors, the darkness within inviting anyone who has dared to make the trek. Slowly the challenger’s eyes adjust as their ears catch something sinister. A chuckle, a cackle even, its cacophonous echo seems without origin. That can’t be true though, the uninvited guest knows why he is here, there is wealth to claim and a King to depose. Finally he reaches it, The Throne Room. In front of him, the Gamer King unaware of his presence, stands immersed in a vr experience bought with his draconic wealth. Since the beginning of time video games he has been here, amassing wealth and gamer skill, chuckling with each win he claims, undefeated, immortal. The challenger approaches to take the King by surprise… but he stands outmatched. The King’s aim and reaction times are too fast, the interloper is decimated by his 12 gauge. Another day, another ez win; his Siggneos’ power embiggened. Soon the day will come when the Greatest Pyroblast is released, where all will perish ‘cept the King and those like him who have gotten gud. Do you have what it takes to challenge him? Do you have what it takes to fight the King?
King Briggs, though not exactly king-sized, is a mighty fighter that packs some devastating punches. He reigns over the battlefield with his powerful Siggneos meter, which is charged by attacking his enemies. Once 25% of the meter is filled Briggs will need to gleefully taunt his opponent to unlock the next section of the meter. He can use the full meter to unleash an overwhelming Greater Pyroblast. He also can perform 2 midair jumps, further improving his destructive potential by allowing him to chain together some deadly combos.

He’s not without his weaknesses, however-- Briggs’ light weight means that he can be killed just as quickly as he can dispatch his enemies. He also loses 5 points of his Siggneos charge upon death, meaning that he will have to chance taunting further in order to regain the charge that he has lost.

Overall, King Briggs is a powerful, glass-cannon type fighter whose gameplay involves high risk and reward-- but what playstyle could be a better fit for a Gamer King?

Specials
Neutral Special: The King’s Words
King Briggs says 1 of 6 words, each with different effects:
“Shoot” does minimal damage but moves forward slowly.
“Dang” does a small amount of damage and knockback.
“Darn” does average damage and knockback.
“Heck” does decent damage and knockback and has a small fire effect.
“Hell” has the same damage and knockback of Heck but also sets the opponent on fire.
“♥♥♥♥” has the most damage and knockback, but doesn’t stay out as long.
The words of the King should not be taken lightly.

Forward Special: Shotgun
King Briggs unleashes his trusty Shotgun for a two-hit combo attack. The first attack occurs as soon as he pulls it out, hitting the enemy and causing them to flinch briefly. This almost guarantees that the next hit, a blast so powerful that it causes Briggs to fly back in recoil, will land. If you have enough Ammo you can even fire the gun a second time for another blast of damage and recoil. The Shotgun can be loaded with 2 bullets at a time. When you run out of bullets, using the attack instead reloads the gun.

Up Special: Hookshot
King Briggs brings his Hookshot (Crappling Hook if using Poop Skin). This is a slightly modified version of the Rope Arrow from Hime Daisho. If the hook makes contact with a wall or an enemy, Briggs will be pulled towards that location. You can cancel this move into aerials and specials while being pulled forward.

Down Special: The Kings’ Army
King Briggs places a Battle Cat onto the field that advances forward slowly. The number of cats Briggs can have out at once is determined by how much meter he has unlocked. Starting with 1 cat at a time and ending with a max of 4. Using the attack in the air will boost Briggs upward. A king is nothing without his subjects.

Full Charged Meter (Attack and Special at the same time): Greater Pyroblast
With a fully charged Siggneos Meter, Briggs can channel the power of Pyroblast into an attack capable of slaying a god. This attack covers a large area and deals massive damage, and sets any who manage to survive it aflame.

Jab, Dash and Tilts
Jab: Royal Smackdown
King Briggs removes his crown and gives a royal smacking to anyone in front or behind him before placing it back on his head.

Dash: The King’s Steed
King Briggs mounts a Battle Cat and charges forth with his staff pointed forward. Holding the attack button allows him to charge infinitely, but he is unable to turn during this attack and can easily be parried.

Forward Tilt: Staff Stab
Briggs stabs his staff forward and casts forth a small ball of energy.

Down Tilt: Crown Ventilation
King Briggs releases a heated blast from within the safety of his crown

Up Tilt: Crown Spin
King Briggs flings his crown above his head and spins it.

Aerials
Neutral Air: Virtual Flailing
With his Kingly Riches Briggs is able to afford a VR Headset which he dons while flailing his arms around. Hopefully he doesn’t accidentally break something important.

Forward Air: Crown Dive
Briggs dives forward head-first, ramming the enemy with his crown. This attack can also hit twice if landed correctly.

Back Air: True Strength
Briggs reveals his singular suspiciously jacked arm and performs a slow but powerful spike. They say he learned this move from a fellow King.

Up Air: Upward Staff Cast
King Briggs casts a magical burst from his staff up into the air.

Down Air: Ground Crown
King Briggs rides in an enlarged crown as it plummets to the ground. This attack will stun anyone close to the landing zone. The attack can only be canceled with a wall jump, so be careful when using it offstage.

Strongs
Forward Strong: Bucket of Pyroblast
King Briggs’ crown morphs into a bucket full of lava which he splashes forward. This move has less knockback than most Strongs but sets the opponent on fire. Briggs has a 1 in 20 chance of critically falling and spilling the lava on himself, setting himself alight and dealing massive damage.

Up Strong: The Throne
King Briggs’ Throne rises from the ground as he takes his rightful place atop it, pulling out a wine glass filled to the brim with the finest grape juice (Briggs is not of legal drinking age). This attack does the most damage at the top of the throne, so catching an enemy during their fall is best. If the button is held, King Briggs can remain in his seat for as long as he wishes. There’s no practical reason to do this but the throne is very comfortable.

Down Strong: The Chopping Block
King Briggs kicks out a chopping block. If the block hits an enemy it’s officially Punishment Time! Briggs will pull out an Executioner’s Axe delivering a serious blow. This attack comes out extremely slow and has a large amount of endlag, so it’s very punishable.

This guy really feels like he already has his own game somewhere. I enjoy this and like the lore. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up with a boss skin as well. Kind of deserves one.

the intro is so menacing, he's a fully buff deity, yet he chooses to play fair and become smaller. Absolutely amazing character with lots of personallity

This is one of my new favorite characters, and not just for the Battle Cats references!
