Fixing FUSE obj output, then importing into CURVY
This tutorial assumes you've created your FUSE character in FUSE and exported it to an unrigged obj file. At this point, your model is probably a hybrid of 3 and 4 sided polygons, which is a mess for many programs to work with. As we got FUSE from Steam, we'll stay in the programs available through Steam to do this. Silo, a polygon modeler, and Curvy, a sketch modeler, will be what this tutorial will use. Silo will be used to fix the FUSE export. Then when fixed, we'll see a visual of how the fixed character will look after imported into Curvy3D.

Fuse to Nodal Modeling via RaySupreme
If you're familiar with how tools like Substance Designer 4 look, then you're familiar with nodal texturing. Nodal texturing is common these days because of the superiority of nodes to layers.

A program named RaySupreme came out recently touting a text to 3D functionality. This is cool, that's true. The thing that makes RaySupreme so interesting is that it's the first nodal modeler since Houdini. And it's... $40. RaySupreme is only for modeling/texturing and was recently accepted into Steam Greenlight.

This is a screen shot of FUSE exported object(obj file) imported into RaySupreme. This FUSE object was not modified in any way. The display is set to Object Editor, which is where you can drag, drop, and link nodes for modeling.

The one issue with triangulation is how it's done. If the entire model is triangulated instead of just the 4 sided polygons, then the model is unreliable for importing. ~ Also, it would be nice if your update had a Curvy3D export option that did all of those steps outlined in my Silo screenshot. ~ your welcome for the guide. I wanted give so many who complained about the limitations greater personal freedom with their characters.

Thanks for posting a guide! Mesh triangulation is coming in our Dec. 12th release, which should help remove the Silo step.
