I have shrunk the planet size to about 50m across, with the corona extending out 5km, and reworked the damage code. At around 3.5km out the ~7G gravity will begin to pull your ship apart, and 1.5km is essentially the event horizon where our understanding of physics breaks down and blocks/components/floating objects/your body will cease to exist.

The point gravity is still 10k G, with a falloff curve giving 1G at about 10km out. I'd be cautious going closer than 10km, although if you do take the ride you may get a glimpse of the darkness lurking within the corona...
