1. Both of these are very situational, and what I mean when I say that is "mostly worthless". You won't be using either often if at all on the class
2. If your will is high enough you could try mind control, but having a 50% chance to mind control a single unit with a large cooldown vs a slow cooldown +40 all forms defense that's 100%? You hate RNG don't go with mind control, go with the 100% solids...
