Increasing accessible memory on 32-bit Windows
As a new, data-driven 3d application leveraging Allegorithmic substances, Fuse can be memory-intensive. A couple Fusers with 32-bit Windows systems have reported out-of-memory crashes.

The latest update of Fuse has a fix to help manage memory on 32-bit systems. However, crashes can still be a possibilty.

The reason for this is that 32-bit Windows expects each 32-bit application to use no more than about 1GB of RAM to work. On 64-bit Windows, this is not an issue for our users. When applying Substances, Fuse can occasionally cross this limit. Our fix should mitigate this problem, however, there is a workaround if you continue to have problems.

This is known as the 3-GB switch, and it allows Windows applications to access more than 1GB of memory.

1. Run Command Prompt as a administrator.
2. type in the following:
bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072
3. you may need to restart your computer, then you can Fuse away :D

To turn off this setting, run command prompt as administrator and type in:
bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVa
you may need to restart your computer.

This will prevent Fuse from crashing. However it is a global setting, so be aware that it will apply to all your programs.

@BrutalRage, Fuse shouldn ot crash on 64bit systems. If it is, you should try updating your graphics drivers.
