You might might be doing something wrong.
For Example:

- Base too Big.
- Not placing technology in the first 5 seconds.
- Building too many batteries & storages.
- Not having a plan. (Not going for especific weapons like Nukes,Mortars,Emps,cannons,lasers, etc.)
- Watching incursus (You're doing something wrong if you're not watching him for 8 hours daily kappa)
- Playing modded (It might be fun, but modded doesn't translate well to vanilla)
- Weak economy (not having 3 mines and atleast 1 turbine in the first 10-20 seconds)
- Big box (Big Box = Big Brain)
- Building both Red and Pink tech. (Workshop & Armoury)
- Using repair station (they're simply not worth it, very situational, unless you smoke weed :) )
(Repair stations have been buffed so it's kinda good now)
- Building defense too early (building defense at 2:30 is good against early game rushers, and 3:30-4:00 building defense is good against late game rushers.)

A wild turtle doing bad things (please don't do this you'll hurt my feelings :C also don't spam repair station use resources on other things pls thx )

Remember: Technology->Economy->Weapons->Defense.

Currently the only reliable commander in forts is Pinchfist
almost all commanders are good now, so pick the one you like ;)
1. Just play or practice
2. Playing against "Pro" Players (You may find them in forts official discord "https://discord.gg/TP4CpnF")
3. Practice one of the early game rushes (Minigun, Mortar, Nuke, Emp, etc) and one of the late game ones (Cannon and Laser.)
4. Don't disconnect if you're losing, learn from your mistakes (Your ego may suffer, but atleast you're learning)
5. Watching replays (you can see your mistakes easily, and see what your opponent is doing)
6. Try new things (You may develop your type of playstyle or even find the next meta)
7. Learn how to counter (try to find ways to disable your enemy. for example you can go for their turbines so they can't damage you!)
8.Watch this video ;)
