How to get prestige, prestige differences.
There are a few ways to get Prestige.

---Police pursuits:

-When you successfully evade the police you will gain prestige. this has seemed to be the easiest, most reliable, best paying source of prestige.

-If you are caught and receive a fine you will LOSE prestige.

-(needs testing)
do you get more prestige the longer the pursuit is?
do you get more prestige if there are more police cars involved?

Here is a video of a few pursuits that were done to gain prestige. this is part of my let's play (not using this for views, only for information!)


---Day Races:

-When you beat another racer during the day you will receive prestige.

-If you lose a day race you will LOSE prestige

-The higher the opponents prestige is the more you will win.

-Prestige isn't affected if you also bet money, you will still win the same amount.

---Night Races (and pink slips)

- If you win night races you gain prestige.

-If you lose night races you LOSE prestige.

-If you have a HIGH prestige and the opponent has LOW prestige you can race for pink slips. (I have not been able to figure out the exact difference you need, but 100% more seems to be around the right answer. if you have 200 and opponent has 100 or less you may get pink slips)

-The higher your prestige is the more you will be able to bet against other racers.
