Description
Completely fictitious mission, with CBA, ACE, EOS and Simplex.

Roleplay
You are part of a UN group acting to stabilize a country in the edge of a political coup.

Political Situation
Local people are exploited from all sides. Divide and conquer, the government promotes attrition between the rich and the poor, between north and south, between right and left wings. Schools are biased with politics, laws prohibit Police to shoot armed criminals, ONG's belong to the friends of politicians, receiving millions of unaudited cash, national banks lend money to countries of similar political orientation at no interest, there are new taxes and tickets every day, nothing is being done to stop property invading groups, which are possibly associated with the government. Even the military is flooded with political orientation within its ranks making it impossible for the good commanders to shine, fearing life threatening internal opposition. Honest people have lost hope in the future and now you are their only hope.

Goal
Generate attrition against the corrupt government and its supporting groups. Help honest civilians by retaking the villages, eliminate opposing forces and machinery, push back foreign forces, perform covert missions given by high command.

Intelligence
There are many factions involved making it difficult to distinguish friend or foe.
Local Gangs – Poorly equipped but well-armed, they have invaded all property and now control the villages.
Civilians – Look exactly the same as the local gangs but, unarmed.
Armed Civilians – Totally outgunned and outnumbered, these brave law abiding citizens are the last ones remaining, fighting with their legally allowed pistols.
Police – Outnumbered and outgunned, they have lost functionality.
Local Army – Also lost functionality due to internal politics they still have some machinery.
Militias – Well armed and well equipped corrupt police officers and military soldiers who have stolen gear from their own bases to fight the local gangs and take their property.
PMC – Well armed and equipped, hired by the private sector to protect their remaining real state.
Foreign Army – Armed to the teeth, they have all the top machinery while its infantry still fights unprotected.

Gameplay
Use your MRAP as a mobile base. It gives you a respawn position, armoury (ammo box) and HALO jump (white board). You can store the ammo box and the white board into the vehicle by using ACE menus. Call support (transport and artillery) using ACE menus as well. There are no enemy markers on the map to simulate uncertainty. Once invading a village, there will be reinforcements from the neighbouring villages, prepare for that by mining the points of access BEFORE invading and, after taking control, build strong points just in case.

This mission was my starting point in mission editing. Now I am working on a Liberation style one:

From now on, the Liberation one will be my main thing, and I am adding more gear and weapons as I create more factions to pop up these missions.

Adam, I have re-uploaded. It has happened because I am in the process of editing the factions and some vehicles got un-crewed.
For the moment, it will be better to run the mission with the beta test version of the mod. I have updated it too.

hi Dutch,
I've learned to set liberation missions. Would you give it a try on my new Altis liberation mission? You play with the units in the mod, I gave a boost on the required factions. it needs the bets test for the moment.
