" The option to play as the Machine Uprising when that happens is now back. "
This mod is no longer needed if you are running on 2.8.1 Beta.
Now will overwrite only syndaw.1020 event.
The solution from paradox to fix this was to remove the feature for the time being (probably because they didnt want to bother with fixing all the bugs, more and more incoming the more patches came, so it was easier for them).
It is not the only feature they commented out, because it promised to cause too much trouble (marauder and feral prethoryn infighting too for example). Another "removed" feature is the ai being unable to use other bombarding than selective and tomb world bombing was also removed for some time. The case of tomb world bombing coming back proved that at least there is hope that some stuff will come back - in the distant future.
