Dreadlands Complete Guide (Gameplay, Factions, Campaigns and More!)
By Shadowcoast
The goal is to make this a one stop shop guide from gameplay mechanics to tactics and deployment to each unique faction!

This guide will be predominantly a video based Youtube guide though I will include written components. In full transparency I am a content creator and do hope to build my subscriber base and appreciate likes and subs for videos.

Please provide comments and feedback and I do plan on updating this guide as I really enjoy this game even in it's Early Access stage!

Hope you find this helpful and enjoy!

Gameplay Mechanics
In this section we outline basic gameplay mechanics.

Status Effects
Throughout the game there are several status effects that you need to be prepared to handle.

Pinned: The Pinned effect occurs when a unit is hit by a ranged attack. When Pinned your unit loses 1 AP point for 1 turn (assuming your not hit again).

Bleed: The Bleed effect can occur during a ranged or melee attack. The unit will lose 1HP each turn and the effect lasts 3 turns. This effect can be cured with Bandages or by other specific faction cards.

Poison: The Poison effect causes a unit to lose 1HP each turn and lasts up to 4 turns. This effect can be cured with an Antidote.

Morale Broken: This effect occurs when either you or the enemy factions bar is pushed all the way over via executing, critical strikes or downing enemies. Once Morale is Broken, the effect reduces all of the team's Units Movement, Ranged and Melee skills by 1 for the remainder of the battle. I believe "Panic" can also occur which causes a unit to fall back a short distance.

Weapons and Associated Traits
Various weapons will have traits that will be important to note as they will fundamentally change your strategy.

Accurate: This trait increases the chance to hit by 10%.

Bigger Mag: This trait increases ammo capacity.

Blunt: This weapon cannot cause Bleed effects.
The weapon can't cause Bleed.

Brutal: This trait increases damage.

Burst: This trait prohibits the use of Aim but will convert (I think) 25% of all missed shots to hits that deal 33% of the weapons normal damage.

Heal: This trait heals the wielder by 1 Health Point each attack.

Impact: This trait increases critical damage.

Inspirational: This trait increases the chance of inspiring the wielder after successfully attacking.

Poison: This trait provides the chance to inflict Poison on the targeted unit.

Push back: This trait will knock back the targeted unit one space upon successful hit.

Rend: This trait increases the chance to inflict Bleed on the targeted unit.

Also, beware of Growlers... They will OWN you!

In our third episode we make nice with another faction by ambushing and redirecting a convoy to their desired location. Spark appears to have his master plan but we remain skeptical...
