Lets start off...
In order for the cheat sheet to work you will first have to be a gunner with a Range Finder tool to fully control the lumberjack.

To know what im talking about, look at this image and read on...

I refer those small refrence points on the LJ ironsight as JOTTS. So the first jott is the very first one right below the cursor. The second one is below that one.

If you look at the image, the refrence points arent exactly one after the other. The the first and seconds jotts are far apart while the second and third jott are really close. The third and fourth are a bit far while the fourth and the fifth are really close. So the numbers arent really too even, they are odd numbered to a degree.
The Cheat Sheet
Okay. If the gunner acompanies himself a Rangefinder with the LJ all he needs then is distance info from the range finder at whatever he wants to shoot at. Does not need that circle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, just a quick mental note of whatever distance he saw when looked thru the Range finder.

Here is the cheat sheet you can use to win games with LJ and not miss.
(Note, the numbers i display are aproxx. Whenever i tested them out they always worked.)

DEFAULT AMMO (Or ammo that does not effect the velocity/speed of the projectile)
Jott 1 - Less than 500
Jott 2 - 500 [1.5 sec]
Jott 3 - 800 [2.5 sec]
Jott 4 - 1200 [3.5 sec]
Jott 5 - 1400 [4.5 sec]

LESMOK AMMO
Jott 1 - 500
Jott 2 - 1500 [2 sec]
(If you want to hit a 1000 distanced mark then simply aim with the empty space between jott 1 and 2) [1.? sec]
Jott 3 - 2400 [4 sec]
(If you want to hit 2000 distanced mark then simply aim with the empty space between jott 2 and 3) [3 sec]

The target dissapears after 3000. Im ASSUMING (untested) that 3000-3200 is Jott 4.

GREASED AMMO
Jott 1 - 150+
Jott 2 - 300+
Jott 3 - 500 [2 sec]
Jott 4 - 700 [3 sec]
Jott 5 - 850 [4 sec]
The space Half way to bottom of the iron sight from Jott 5 - 1000 [?? sec]
The very bottom of the iron sight - 1300-1600 [5 sec]

So, when you look thru your Rangefinder at an enemy ship and it says 856. You then may: Aim with JOTT3 with default ammo. Aim whats between JOTT 1 and 2 with lesmok... Aim with jott 4 to 5 with Greased if you wanna be risky but rewarding.

With this, if the number is like 700 but you have lesmok loaded, simply aim a bit higher than what you would normaly aim with 500. is he 600 or 700 away with greased? Just aim higher from Jott 3 etc etc. Having paper with the cheat sheet written down on it actually helped me alot :P

UPDATE: Distance time travel. If you would try that, counting to 3 like seconds starting from 1 is 2 seconds. Or you can start from 0. Or use a timer if you REALLY want to be precise mid game...

Guide for noobz who can't eyeball the distance. If you need a range finder to tell you how high to aim, you have no business being a LJ gunner. A gunner simply can't sacrifice the spyglass, marking enemies is too vital.

Dude this helped so much! we had a 12v12 LumberJackOff! and it was the most badass battle ever! When everyone has only lumberjacks things get insane super fast!

Predates arming time? No, its quite up to date. I just dont consider arming time in the guide because if that is a worry, you should start using greased and worry about close encounters, wheres this is all about hitting your target at whatever distane.

This guide is a little outdated, since it predates arming times for long-range guns. Still a helpful guide to get to know one of my favorite guns, the very underrated Lumberjack.
