FSC Star 266

Star 266 was a heavily modified Star 28, with bigger engine and big wheels (6 of them) each one driven (so, 6x6). Produced between 1973 and 2000 proved reliable and with good offroad capabilities. Star 266 could drive through water, at 120cm level without preparation, or 180cm with preparation. Vehicle is also operational in high and low temperatures and at humidity as high as 98%. Downsides were, however, horrible soundproofing and huge fuel consumption.

Star 266 was used by numerous armies, and still is, most notably by Poland, Hungary, Angola, USSR, Libya, etc.
Nowadays even Islamic State uses them, especially when they mount ZU-23-2 AA gun in the cargo compartment, similar to serial-produced Hibneryt.
