This is my new mod! This one is not a continuation of my Multimode/Multitool Weapons, but it is without a doubt my most proud mod!
I present to you the Custom Assault Rifle Creator!

Features:
- 9x Body selections
- 13x Butt/Stock selections
- 10x Barrel selections
- Custom Name
- Custom Description
- 3x custom hexcodes
- Weapon preview

Notes:
- When spawning the item, if you have chosen to give it custom hexcodes, you must click the 'Set Hex' Button before you spawn it for them to activate, and the same with the Name and description, except press the 'Set Text' Button before spawning!
- I do not yet have the knowledge to make the inventory icons look like the gun you have spawned, so It has been replaced with a cross made of the same colours of the gun. If you add hexcodes, the colours of the icon will also change :D
- The energy usage is at a set level of 0 aswell as the base DPS being 500


Future ideas
- Larger interface. Why?
- More customisation with attack power, attack speed and energy usage and all that good stuff
- More part selections
- Save slots for weapon presets

Any chance you plan on redoing this into a "not shit" ( Using your own words there ) version, using the vanilla parts in the future?

Please say yes... I've been looking for a mod to do it since forever... :(

Because after looking at most of those parts, a lot of them look the same, some are glitched and some does not even make sense for an "assault rifle". Almost as if this mod was rushed. I liked your Sword version, though. But this one is pretty disappointing.

Okay? What was the point of coming here to tell me that? Its like going to the Infinite mech health mod and commenting you can just go into admin to do it.

I thought this was using existing assets from the game, but after looking at the contents.pak file, it doesn't.

The mod only holds 31 weapon parts total which is less than what the game has to offer. The game offers 60 parts, without counting what you could use from the machinepistol, the pistol, the shotgun, & the sniperrifle folders. Giving you exactly 300 parts to play with.

If you wanted more wild options, mix-match the rocketlauncher & the grenadelauncher parts for a total of 420 weapon parts.

The pictures used for this mod are too big. When I create a custom weapon, I try to keep the style & size to what the game looks like. So the modded item doesn't break the immersion too much. Take Rexmeck's weapons for example. They're cool, but their difference in pixel-sizes just makes everything weird in comparison with the rest of the game.

Anyway! With the lack of parts, I might as well do it myself with the /admin commands & a bit of extra work for re-coloring. :SMGYukisubtle:
