Intro
The Integrated Workshop Uploader, available from Planetbase 1.3.7, allows you to upload challenges and translations to the Steam workshop from the game itself.
It replaces the old command line tool that was used before.

Please refer to our Planetbase Workshop Guide for instructions on how to create content for the game.

If you have any issues or feedback using this uploader, please let us know in the forum.
Uploading a New Item
  • Create folder Documents/Planetbase/WorkshopUploader/Content and place the files you want to upload in it. (This is case sensitive, make sure to name the folders exactly as indicated).
  • Place preview image at Documents/Planetbase/WorkshopUploader/preview.png
  • Launch Planetbase, and in the main title screen click on Workshop Uploader.
  • Type title and description and click Upload.
  • Items are uploaded in private mode, you then need to go to the workshop page for the item on the steam website, and change the visibility to public.
  • We highly recommend that you add some screenshots for your item, you can also do this from the workshop page for your item.
Updating Items
When you upload a new item, Steam will assign it a new ID, which you then need to use to update the item by selecting the "Existing" option in the Workshop Uploader and providing the ID.

The Workshop Uploader will automatically remember the ID from the last item you've uploaded, and set it automatically, however if for some reason you want to update a different item, or you lose the ID, you can always get it from the URL of the item page on the Steam Workshop.

Sounds complicated; maybe down the road you will use a simpler system like most games use. Until then, I just play it as is...

I figured it out - the preview.png image I was using was too large! I reduced the filesize and it's working now.

Hello! I'm getting an error when I try to upload a series of challenges I made: "EResultLimitExceeded". This error appears on the Workshop Uploader when I try to upload. The challenges work locally on my PC but the upload fails with this error. Thank you for any advice!
