No Update for Sisters of Twilight needed as nothing related with this mod was changed.

Compatible with everything (except my other Knight of the Light mods,choose one of them), balanced for vanilla

Knights that took the vow of empathy. These knights are the beacon of hope for the poor peasantry that barely stand their ground on the frontlines. When a bretonnian army has these knights embedded to peasant frontlines; peasants rejoice with their pure sight and knights test their limits with their empathy for peasants that face the horrors of the Old World right on, face to face and on foot.


****These knights have the same recruit conditions as the Knights of the Realm and a level 1 Smithy in the campaign. They are balanced to be a high tier frontline unit, while abled to hold their ground they are no match to elite infantry of other factions such as loremasters of hoeth or dark elf executioners.

****The custom helmet is completely redone by myself. Scars dents and torse and mantling removed.

****These knights dont have heraldry on their shileds or helmet tops since this is a duty that is beyond the one against their lords, these are the members of a knightly order of Bretonnia so they share the same uniforms. Only thing they show off similar to vanilla knights' heraldries is the achieved deed certifications on their shields.(these vary from unit to unit since some of them still havent achieved any deeds, some achieved less, and some more. I did it like this to add personality to individual units.)

****I don't advice spam cheesing with these units since using an army full of foot knights is not that bretonnia like, i didnt cap them because i wanted to give freedom to players yet it is not adviced to use more than 2-4 per army if you want to stick to lore friendly armies.

Thanks for the reply! I was hoping it was campaign, I really wanted to try them out and since I don't touch custom battles that would of been hard so I'm glad it's both :D

I'll have a look around those two and also go through Seb's guide to see what I can come up with. I won't be posting online until I'm completely satisfied and learned how to mod properly xD
So I'll probably end up making my own look but going to start with this mod as it's kinder in the right direction of where I want it to go and will help cut some of the work load for the time being :P

its for both campaing and custom. you can perhaps apply this mods variantmodel files toa new undead unit and then adjust the animation. Im not that familiar with cross race units tables but its most likely realted with variants and animations.

Hey dude

I'm just wondering how I would go about changing this unit so that it is available to Mousillon. It's a Bret unit but Mousillon is a VC race/faction.
Also would it be possible to change it to undead? If so how do I go about changing that?

I want more knights for Mousillon other than Black Knights, mounted and on foot and your mod is pretty nice!
One last thing, is this for custom battles only or can it be used in ME/Vortex? If it is custom only, can that be changed at all? Again, how would I do that :P

Hi Steve, yes its possible animation tables can be found with PFM(pack file manager). Go to lan_units_tables and find "man animation" segment there and change it to your liking. remember to make the necessary changes in other tables for the weapon change too.

Hey Gorgos great mod! I have a question if youre at all able to answer it, i'm wondering if theres a possibility to change the melee animations for the Bretonnian lords. Essentially just changing from shield and sword to a 2 handed type of animation. Any info would be much appreciated, im not quite sure where to find unit animations in the database.
