lines are possible diviations from the route. Red is the main route. Sometimes it might not feel like worth it visiting a specific city, so you can just skip it to visit it later, or, maybe, the city is just too far away, like Revyl.

My favorite part is how there's no explanation of what the different colored lines mean, leading to mass confusion and rage.

One direction might bring faster short-term income, but long-term - you're still gonna make a circle and end up at the same spot. If you make a second lap, then you would probably have already sold everything that you could have sold by the time you reach the end of that lap. So it only might matter at the start.

Does it matter which direction you go around the route?
