Description
This is a standalone feature from my Void Dwellers Expanded mod.

Since 2.7 Orbital Habitats have 50% the upfront cost so you probably don't need this anymore.

Grants -50% habitat (megastructure) cost and time to build modifier which diminishes by 5% every 5 years. Granted in the second month of the second year.

I removed any prerequisites to make the mod universal in use. As long as you have it active bonus wil be applied to all empires (will make no difference for any empire except habitat starters).

This should still work without the need for an update.

Can this be updated? Would love to use this

Thanks for the answer, and yes, I'll use it, because fit perfectly on my vision of the future: people lives on habitats (lots of them) long before they venture on deep space :)

Yes, it applies to every start. It is not needed nowadays as since 2.7 habitats cost 50% less anyway. Before that they costed 3000 alloys and a lot of influence, which made habitat empire start unfavorable. If you play on 2.8 you don't need it really, unless you want them even cheaper.

And the bonus apply to all habitat starts (even that of mods)?

I don't understand, it's a feature already present in Void Dwellers Espanded, or we can/must use both?

This mod does not require update to 2.7+

I think you mean 'before it's too late', not until.

No worries, was relatively easy to cut it out. Enjoy! :)
