Do you have a crappy, low-end PC? Well then, buddy, this guide is made for you!

I didn't make this. It was actually made by a nice guy on the NMRIH community. See his guide here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2045009143
Getting to work
1- Go to your Steam library.
2- Right-click Codename CURE on your library and click on "Proprerties".
3- Go to "Local files" and click "Browse local files"
4- There, click "cure" and, inside of cure, go to "cfg".
5- Inside of "cfg", copy any .txt file inside of it, go back to cure, and paste the file inside of cfg.
6- Erase EVERYTHING written on the file copy and paste this inside of it:

sv_cheats 1
mat_dxlevel 80
mat_dxlevel 80
cl_ragdoll_collide 0
mat_picmip 4
r_WaterDrawReflection 0
r_WaterDrawRefraction 0
mat_wateroverlaysize 8
r_lod 5
mat_fullbright 1
mat_diffuse 5
mat_bumpmap 0
r_shadows 0
mat_fullbright 1
mat_forceaniso 0
mat_forcehardwaresync 0
mat_reducefillrate 0
mat_mipmaptextures 0
mat_filtertextures 0
mat_bloom 0
mat_envmapsize 32
mat_envmapgasize 8
mat_antialiasing 0
cl_phys_props_enable 0
mat_filterlightmaps 0
mat_showlowresimage 1

7- Now, save changes and rename it to something you'll remember (like "Potato", for example).
8- Finally, close everything and open Codename CURE.
In-game:
1- Open your console.
2- Go to a server with sv_cheats set to 1 (or make your own).
3- Open your console real quick inside of the game and type "exec (file name here.txt)" but without brackets and "(file name here)" will be your file's name (in my case, Potatoes.txt).
4- Wait a little, and there you go! All textures are removed and replaced by a sweet, untextured color palette. (As a plus, you'll never need a flashlight again, i guess!)

IMPORTANT: Read the "Extras" part!
Extras (Console, etc.)
These are important parts of the guide that I didn't remember to write:

CONSOLE

-To be able to use your console, I think you need to open CC's properties, go to "Set launch options..." And punch in "-console" and open your game.

BRACKETS

-Everything i told you all to TYPE must be written without brackets, these little things "".

SHADOWS

-Do you want your flashy back? No problem. To enable shadows again, I guess you have to remove "r_shadows 0". I'M NOT SURE THOUGH, so see if you can warn me if it works.
THE END
If you read this guide, then thank you. If you were so kind to rate it, thank you very much. Sorry I couldn't upload more pictures, my potato PC can't surf the Internet properly. I also don't know how to use italics or bold, but I hope to learn.

Go support the guy that made this.

Well, pal, this really fitted you, didn't it? You can also do this with plenty of Source Engine games.
NMRIH is a nice and free game; see if you can download it and use this method in it, if necessary.

Goodbye for now!
WARINININING
THIS WILL MAKE YOUR GAME LOOK BAD. AS IN B-A-D. So when you have your ugly and fast game running, remember what I just said, and don't complain in the comments that your game looks like crap, ok?

@(UB) patrlim I told you to take a look at the pictures in the guy's guide, didn't I? If you are bothered by that then I don't care, find another way to run this better.
