The THP talents also got rebalanced. THP-on-cleave now gives half thp beyond 5 targets instead of 0, THP-on-crit also gives thp on non-crit hits but at a much reduced value, THP-on-kill was rebalanced to buff THP received from skaven and nerfed THP from chaos (chaos still gives more), and THP-on-stagger was nerfed especially for weaker staggers but now also gives a small amount of THP on killing blows.
Also, the bot improvements mod is currently desanctioned with the devs refusing to resanction it unless some minor issues are fixed. So we're stuck with the godawful vanilla bots.
Previously, the bot used quick shots to instantly kill specials. But now the bot constantly tries to fully charge the shot even if there is not a single special around and even if the bot is surrounded by a horde. Which leads to a logical result - this bot cannot survive any fight at all, sometimes even 1 rat can easily kill this bot.
With a longbow, the elf only uses quick shots, which is very ineffective, but at least she can fight normally in close combat.
It might be worth trying javelins again, although I remember there was a problem that the bot couldn't fully reload it.
What do you think about Foot Knight bot? (just interested, he was considered as alternative in many guides previously)
