Remote Medkit Use for Specialists

Description
Adds X2-style GREMLIN healing to Chimera Squad, making Terminal and Patchwork act more like Specialists.

By default, this mod grants Terminal and Patchwork the 'Gremlin Heal' ability, which allows for remote use of Medkits. It also removes the healing effect from Terminal's 'Safeguard' ability, but grants her the 'Field Medic' starting perk, which gives her two free Medkit charges at no cost of a utility slot.

This mod also increases default Medkit charges to 2. All of these default settings can be configured following the instructions below. There's also an option to exclude Patchwork from these changes, for those who want her GREMLIN used only for Operator-type stuff.

Default AP cost for Gremlin Heal is 1, but it can be set as a free action for those who want it to reflect Chimera Squad medkit activation cost.

Configuration
To enable or disable components of this mod, use a text editor to open the files at your local equivalent of steamapps > workshop > content > 882100 > 2076269116 > Config. Instructions are included.

This is such a good mod thanks. Actually buffs Terminal tactically while also making it easier to run without her. Super well done thanks, plays great!

@Kirbster The added challenge is intentional. See the 'Configuration' section above for how to retain base Safeguard functionality with this mod active.

I think this is makes it harder. The mod gives me two gremlin heals, and a separate button for the defense buff. Was better with one heal per turn (4 hp) with the defense buff.

Status removal is tied to the medkit effect, yes.

This feels somehow like a buff to Terminal, since now she can separately buff defense and heal on two targets. Does Safeguard still remove status effects with the healing off, or is that linked to the Medkit effect?

Interesting mod, thanks for writing it.

Have found that when I switch the Gremlin Heal to a free action ("GREMLINHEAL_FREEACTION=True"), it still consumes a action. This is what happens whether or not there's a 1 turn cooldown ("GREMLINHEAL_COOLDOWN=1" or "GREMLINHEAL_COOLDOWN=0").
