The name of the track is not a joke, it's a confession that I lied about the difficulty being normal, while it is expert or nightmare. Even though the wings are enabled, this is still an NWBO track with no room for error. The cooling rings are too far apart to prevent overheat destruction while wings are active.
Many players have put unforgiving tracks on casual or normal. I added this level and others to my collection Unfair/Liars for this reason.
The basic NWBO tracks ('simply straight', 'U-turn', etc) don't have a difficulty level marked on them, but they're more forgiving with cooldown and don't need the same level of precision - no killgrid cylinder, for instance.
NWBO Course 1 is ranked Nightmare, and would be easier than this for a newbie to gripflight to complete as the flights are shorter, and don't require you to be so quick to get the alignment right.
