According to other workshop tracks, the difficulty of this one does not qualify as advanced, expert or nightmare. To make my statement, I created a track listed normal but it fits better in expert or nightmare. This track has a kill grid cylinder. You have to stay airborne the whole time and stay perfectly straight. If you use wings, you'll increase the chance of being destroyed and not achieving the silver award as using wings overheat you faster and are slower than boosters.

For the diamond, you have to finish within 30 seconds.

I did say that this was expert or nightmare in the description; "...created a track listed normal but fits better in expert or nightmare."

The name of the track is not a joke, it's a confession that I lied about the difficulty being normal, while it is expert or nightmare. Even though the wings are enabled, this is still an NWBO track with no room for error. The cooling rings are too far apart to prevent overheat destruction while wings are active.

Many players have put unforgiving tracks on casual or normal. I added this level and others to my collection Unfair/Liars for this reason.

You could argue that something like Ucuetis is marked 'normal' and requires gripfight to complete one section, but the difference there is that it provides an out - you can just drive around the gripflight area and the level won't kill you for doing it.It's also very forgiving, with only a short run and no need to carry momentum.

I don't know how you got that impression, this should be Expert or Nightmare. The obvious comparison would be against NWBO tracks - No Wings, Boost Only. Griflight is basically required to complete this, and gripflight is an advanced mechanic - there's no tutorial for it until the 'Nightmare Fuel' level set (Zenith).

The basic NWBO tracks ('simply straight', 'U-turn', etc) don't have a difficulty level marked on them, but they're more forgiving with cooldown and don't need the same level of precision - no killgrid cylinder, for instance.

NWBO Course 1 is ranked Nightmare, and would be easier than this for a newbie to gripflight to complete as the flights are shorter, and don't require you to be so quick to get the alignment right.
