[TF2 Map Fix] Suijin

Description
Suijin Map Fix for SFM Workshop, note that this is only the bsp file, i have included textures/models required to run the map, but there may be missing files with it.

Includes:
koth_suijin.bsp

NOTE: If you for some reason are having issues, you can try to use the bare BSP file here [drive.google.com]

FAQ For common issues:

Q: There are some Shiny/Blurry/Bloom lights around some objects, how do I fix this?

A: Go into the console and type mat_specular 0 into it, it should fix it.

Q: Some objects/particles/(other things) are not appearing on the map, what do i do?

A: Right click on a viewpoint camera (the thing that lets you see) and go to "Draw Game Entities" and then check Other Entities, it should appear, this happens on most maps, and other entities is disabled on default for performance, for particles, you will have to check the view objects button right below the Draw Game Entities.

Q: I get certain errors in the console due to a particle missing.

A: This shouldn't impede the map itself, this is normal to happen to any map, even official ones designed for SFM, some particles may not load in correctly, and that can only be fixed by manually updating SFM yourself.

Q: SFM gets heavily slowed down or lags when the map is loaded.

A: Try shortening the movie clip (the blue and yellow clip), this will increase FPS.

Q: Will this see a S2FM port?

A: Depends if S2FM will be independent from SteamVR, otherwise no, these map ports won't.

Q: The map does not download, crashes SFM, or is not appearing in the map selection.

A: You are most likely missing files for the map, ports like these are generally only the BSP file, and may not contain everything required for the map to operate, I will try to alleviate the problems if such occur, the map will appear in the Workshop folder, not in the tf folder, and make sure you have pressed the reset button on top of the map selection screen.






Known Issues with KOTH_Suijin.

Possibly a cube in the centre of the map, shouldn’t affect the map running however.

On the top of SFM, click Windows, Console, and a window should appear with the Console.

I have attempted to update the map file, I will also provide the BSP file bare soon in case these problems occur again.

Same. All my maps now have NODRAW on them after downloading this map.

This messes up the textures for the other TF2 maps, it makes them all yellow with "NODRAW" on them.

Pretty sure it requires the resources from TF2 in order to work, yes, otherwise you might be missing textures or models for the map, as this addon is just the BSP file for the map itself.

I don't guarantee that the textures/models required for the map to function are included in this addon as if I did I would most likely get prevented by Steam Workshop's file size limit, as the map itself already is a big file.

Can you try unsubscribing and resubscribing, making sure SFM fully deletes it before resubscribing? It could be that some assets did not get installed.

Sometime I will have to reinstall SFM to find out if this issue is reproducible on my side, so it may take me awhile to figure out the issue.

i subscribed to it, i see it in the map list, i click it, the tab closes, nothing happens.
any fixes or reasons for this?
