Sounds like a clickbait title, but I spent 4 days trying to solve the first puzzle because of my ignorance.

Being a new gamer, these are things that I did not know.

Mouse Clicks

Right-click on an object to see information about the object.
Left-click on an object to use the object.
This applies to items in your possession as well as items in the surroundings.

Right-click on a person to see information about the person.
Left-click on a person to interact with the person.

Combining Items

Go to your inventory, then click and hold on an object.
Drag the object onto another, and release.
You can not combine all items with each other, but it is worth a shot.

Combining items that you have in your inventory is essential to progress in this game.

Thanks, in fact I did not try out right-clicking items. They should give a short intro page with these infos.

Yes. Every game has it's different style. Always try the options/controls map to see what can be done with what controls.

Point+click adventure games are as named, point your cursor there and click. if you have different mouse buttons, then try all 15 and see what it does. Very rarely does a P+C game let you die and game over (well some does, but rarely)

You will learn more as you play more games.
