Custom Consists for QD
By CrazyGecko
Hopefully this guide will help people get the most out of their purchases without having to constantly replay the same scenario repeatedly or hoping to find a custom scenario that ticks the right boxes of what you own as now the player will be able to build their own custom consists for QD. This guide was inspired by a question from a friend awhile ago.

Getting started.
Let's get started. We'll start off by selecting Quick Drive and select Custom.

Next when Create New is selected press Confirm.

Now we wait. Let it finish loading before doing anything else but this shouldn't take too long depending on how many assets you own.
Building and editing your consist
Once the loading has finished you'll now have this screen. You'll get a tab that'll let you choose from Wagon, Diesel loco, Electric loco and Steam loco. If you already know what loco or wagons you want you can use the search bar. Remember that when using the search bar to make sure the tab above matches the asset type your looking for as searching for a loco will show no results if the tab is set to wagons.

For this example I will build a consist using a Class 60 with a M.O.D. style consist. Using the search bar provides me with every Class 60 I own so I'll choose the DB one. Using the insert button add's the loco to the consist. The length and weight will rise by adding more loco's and wagons to this consist.

With the loco chosen we will add some wagons such as the KFA and KWA. Using add to front or add to back buttons will determine which side of the loco these wagons will be added.

If you want to move a particular wagon closer or further away from the loco click on the wagon and use either of the tabs with double arrows on the upper left and right otherwise you can also flip the wagon or even delete them if required. In this example I moved the KWA wagon between the two KFA wagons.

Once your happy with your train it's now time to name and save it. Click on the Next button at the bottom right and you will be given a option to name your consist "I'm using Class 60 MOD" and choose a country code so since this a UK loco and wagons I picked UK. Once your satisfied click save.
Finishing up
Your consist should have now saved successfully and you'll be taken back to Quck Drive. Find the loco you chose for your consist and it will be there ready to use. With your consist chosen now pick a route to test it on.

And there we have it folks, a working custom asset for Quick Drive.

Before trying out your new consist either restart the game or clear cache to reduce any problems before trying it out for the first time. Second is make sure the couplers of the train are of the same type to reduce problems as well.

Hopefully this guide will help you create new and interesting consists and maximise your purchases.
