Controls
Menu commands:
F1 = firehouse commands on Fire Academy / alarm menu in Manhattan
F2 = select and spawn units. Within the units you can select your role
F3 = character menu, customization of your gear and equipment
F4 = vehicle menu, customization of some vehicle details (e.g. NYPD: number, light matrix, etc.)
F5 = weather menu, setting of daytime, time factor, weather and weather effects
F6 = picture-mode
General vehicle commands:
right click = open door / bay
C = open bay / compartment (or use right click)
F = enter vehicle (stay right next to the door)
I = ignition
P = set / release brake
1-6 = in ego-perspective: change seat W = forward A = left S = reverse D = right J = rotating / flashing lights on / off / switch through (the commands above depending the vehicle type)
Q = manual Federal "Q" siren Y = manual EQ2B siren B = automatic wail N = automatic yelp M = automatic priority siren T = pneumatic horn
R = braking manual sirens
Ladder commands
G = ladder control / operator seat
C = climb the ladder (Ladder Co.)
F = enter basket (Tower Ladder Co.)
W = lower A = turn left S = lift
D = turn right
Q = extend ladder E = retract ladder
X / C = motion of the tiller ladder, steering of the rear wheels
L = light mast on / off, adjustment with «» «» «» «»
«,» and «.» as well in combination with «ctrl» = extend / retract outrigger («.» = extend «,» = lower)
Third person controls
W = forward
A = left S = back D = right
Z = kneel left shift = sprint space = jump
left ctrl = item menu
left alt = cursor on / off
V = Changing view between ego-perspective and third person
Other controls
H = wear helmet / take helmet off J = wear SCBA / take off SCBA (only with bunker gear on)
L = hand- or helmet-lamp on / off
J = SCBA mask on / off
G = take item
X = drop item
left click = use item B = holster item
E = couple item / hose
Extension ladder controls
1-4 = Select a ladder off the vehicle;
1 = 12 feet extension ladder
2 = 35 feet extension ladder
3 = 20 feet fix ladder
4 = 10 feet fix ladder
T = stow ladder back in vehicle / take ladder
F = set ladder position (extend then), release ladder
Q / E = extend / retract (extension ladder only)
left click = lower / lift the ladder suspension from vehicle (Engine Co.)
Alarm menu (F1)
10-8 = Abort / end call 10-84 = Generate new call

Equipment standards and operation area of the different vehicles (all information is supplied without guarantee)
Ladder Company [also called «Truck» – search & rescue, ventilation, tech. assistance (lifting bags, hydraulic tools, etc.)]:
- extendable motorized ladder without basket - water-can / extinguisher
- ladders (2 extension ladders, 2 fix ladders) - hook
- 2 chainsaws - pike
- K12 Fire-Rescue saw - Halligan-tool
- battery-powered spreader - fire axe
Tower Ladder Company [also called «Truck» – search & rescue, ventilation, tech. assistance (lifting bags, hydraulic tools, etc.)]:
- extendable motorized ladder with basket - hook
- fire monitor on basket (relais with engline needed) - pike
- water-can / extinguisher - battery-powered spreader
- chainsaw - Halligan-tool
- K12 Fire-Rescue saw - fire axe
Squad Company [part of Special Operations Command – fire calls, tech. assistance, small – medium hazmat calls]:
- attack line packages - 2 Halligan-tools
- nozzle - 2 fire axes
- chainsaw - EMS-bag
- K12 Fire-Rescue saw - hook
- foam extinguisher - pike
- attack lines 2 ½ inch - quick attack line
- relais transport lines 3 ½ inch - supply line
- hydrant wrench - water tank and pump system
- deck fire monitor to use with supply line (adjustment with arrows) and mobile multiversal
Engine Company [most common unit – fire calls, first responder calls]:
- quick attack line - water-can / extinguisher
- supply line - foam extinguisher
- water tank and pump system - 2 EMS-bags
- nozzle - Halligan-tool
- attack line packages - fire axe
- attack lines 2 ½ inch - hydrant wrench
- relais transport lines 3 ½ inch - mobile fire monitor / multiversal
- deck fire monitor to use with supply line (adjustment with arrows) and mobile multiversal
- Extension ladder on roof suspension (leftclick = lower / lift the ladder suspension from vehicle)
Rescue Company [part of Special Operations Command – search & rescue of trapped firefighters and civillians out of dangerous areas, rescue from heights and depth, water rescue, tech. assistance, hazmat calls]:
- battery-powered spreader - Halligan-tool
- hook - fire axe
- pike - nozzle
- water-can / extinguisher - 2 chain saw
- foam extinguisher - 4 K12 Fire-Rescue saws
- deck fire monitor to use with supply line (adjustment with arrows ) and mobile multiversal
FDNY Boat [Marine Company]:
- search light (L = on / off, adjust with arrows)
- fire monitor (adjust with arrows)
Equipment usage
Lines and pump system:
1. Connect the supply line to the hydrant (use hydrant wrench)
2. Turn on the water pump and supply the truck (left side of the engine)
3. Attach quick attack line (left front of the engine)
Hose pack / inside attack with riser:
1. Attack line from the engine to the riser in front of a building (highrise, subway station, connect with «E»)
2. Advance with a hose pack and a nozzle inside the building
3. Connect the hose pack to the riser on the upper level (with «T»), connect the nozzle, start inside attackOpenings:
Door openings (as well grids, etc.):
1. variant: Halligan tool and/or fire axe, breaking up medium doors
2. variant: kicking up light doors (L-ctrl – item Menu – door)
3. variant: use the K12 Fire-Rescue saw for heavy doors and locks (right click + left click), then kick (kneeling with «z» or standing)
Ventilation openings from outside:
1. Get access to the roof
2. Search for a good ventilation location, kneel («z»)
3. Use chainsaw or K-12 Fire-Rescue saw, an outline will be visible showing up the cutting area (rightclick + leftclick, caution; do not kneel inside the cutting area, danger of breaking through)
4. Lift off the loose ceiling parts with the hook
Ventilation openings from inside:
1. FF squad on inside attack
2. Look for a good spot on the ceiling to ventilate (possibly where ceiling parts are already collapsing)
3. Use spear to tear down loose ceiling parts (rightclick + leftclick)
Mobile fire monitor / multiversal
Right side of engine, in the small compartment you find the multiversal. Grab it with «G», place on desired position with «X» (marked green), adjust the position with «W»«A»«S»«D», then «X» for definitive placement. Connect attack line. Move with the keyboard arrows, spray with leftclick.
Deck fire monitor / deck gun
Move the deck gun (climb on deck with «F» from the right side of vehicle) with the arrow keys on your keyboard (spray with leftclick). A connected supply line to the engine and a working water pump is required (right engine front, connected to a hydrant)

When spawning vehicles in the training academy, I am clicking right and still unable to open any of the bay doors. Whether I am in a vehicle or out. I need help

theres a hazmat call at the fire academy however i do not see any hazmat units?

any one like to play on a multiplayer server on brooklyn for fun using 111 214 234 123 and 38 maybe R2 even 1 driver for each after each truck has a driver then crew can start forming on engines the ladders then rescue
