Step 1: Downloading the game
Believe it or not, to start playing the game, you have to purchase it through the Steam store, then hit the Install button in your library.
Step 2: Launching the Game
Once you have spent the estimated 2-3 eternities downloading Fallout 3 over Australian NBN, your Install button should change to a much more appealing Play button.

After pressing the PLAY button, the game will launch.

Awesome!

Now hit the Play button in the launcher, and your game should launch!
Step 3: Your First Crash
After starting the game, your application will forcibly shove a live Frag Grenade down its throat, and spontaneously combust within five seconds of opening.

Not. Cool. Dudes.

Step 4: Buying Fallout: New Vegas
To purchase Fallout: New Vegas, follow this link, which will lead you to the Steam store page:
https://steamhost.cn/app/22380/Fallout_New_Vegas/

After you are at the store page, repeat steps 1 and 2.

You can now enjoy Fallout: New Vegas!

"Heres a patch with a batch file and manual instructions if need be"

I've tried this, it doesn't help... it still crashes every 15 minutes. I've noticed it happens most often on blood spray, fire ant spray, and entering a building... Please... someone halp

Why does it have to be true, though... it's been 12 years, hasn't someone figured out how to make it stop crashing?

To run Fallout 3 you gotta pray to god and hope that when it crashes it doesn't blue screen your pc.
