When you join the server, an instructor above the rank of Lance Corporal should be with you shortly. You can take this time to create your own character after reading the information posted around the walls on each base. Once you found a name for yourself, your Instructor will put you through our rigorous Cadet Training Program that teaches you the critical skills needed to be a NorthStar operative! Once you complete Basic Training, you can start learning more about the different jobs and certifications we have to offer!

Your training time can last anywhere from 30-45 minutes, this depends on your Instructor.

In the NorthStar community, we call our jobs: military occupation specialties or MOS for short. We also have additional training opportunities called certifications, CERT for short. These allow you to operate different types of equipment or practice different things during an event. Every so often we will have a MOS and CERT training day when we have no events scheduled for the server.

Valkyrie Company Divisions
NorthStar PMC, as a whole, has 4 standard divisions and 26 companies. We are Valkyrie Company and we use all 4 of the standard divisions. The divisions are: Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Security Forces. Each division has different skills, specialties, and ideologies they bring to the Operational Table.


NorthStar — Division 1 (NS1)
North Star Division 1, or NS1, is commonly known as the "special operations force" of each Company. NS1 is comprised of operatives that have been either hand picked, suggested by their peers, or special assignments. They are all highly effective, stone cold, killing machines. They're put through a rigorous training program with an approximate 4.23% graduate rate. NS1, unlike NS3, can be compared to a scalpel. They carry out swift and decisive strikes across the world and disappear without a trace. In Valkyrie Company, they're used to infiltrate behind enemy lines, break the enemy chain of command, destroy supply routes, assassinate HVTs, go undercover, and much more.

NorthStar — Division 2 (NS2)
North Star Division 2, or NS2, is commonly known as the "Airborne Rangers" of each Company. NS2 are used as a "quick reaction force" or QRF, experts in Airborne and Air Assault techniques, and generally just referred to as a Paratrooper. In combat situations, they are effective in fast pace attacks on an enemy position and quickly gathering intel for the main assault force. In Valkyrie Company, they allow us to quickly make a hole in an enemy defense and gather intelligence that would normally not be obtained through conventional means.

NorthStar — Division 3 (NS3)
North Star Division 3, or NS3, is commonly known as the "main assault force" of each Company. In Valkyrie Company, they're a basic infantry force who are also taught "lateral fighting" techniques to give them an edge on the battlefield against a larger enemy force.

NorthStar Security Forces (NSSF)
North Star Security Forces, or NSSF, is commonly known as the "military police" of each Company. A majority of NSSF operatives start their training an United Company, a Peacekeeping company comprised of all NSSF. Once they're done, they typically transfer to another Company as a professional law enforcement operative meant to keep the peace both on and off base. NSSF are a crucial piece to each Company, allowing them to operate smoothly. NSSF is used for upholding our articles of conduct, base laws, and contractor agreements. Compared to COs and NCOs, they do not match the disciplinary authority they have. They only arrest operatives that break the articles of conduct or base laws. Once arrested, they hand them off to their Division CO for another punishment.

In our server, we typically have an Operation every day at 8PM EST except on Mondays. Monday is reserved as a rest for the community. Our main events always happen at 8PM EST which can a campaign operation, official operation, or unofficial operation. Smaller events such as combat patrols and trainings occur earlier in the day. Your MOS will be used in various situations during these events. The glory of battle is where these events are focused on. They can be as quick as 30 minutes or even as long as 2 hours. Our operations are coordinated by our amazing Zeus Team. With each event, you can decide the story of your character based on what happened. Go crazy! (But not TOO crazy.)
