Introduction
Hello. If you are at this point, you either want to see what this guide is about, or you want to know how to use the pan. Good for you. The frying pan is a stock melee reskin to most, but I know a secret. The pan actually has a hidden stat that makes it crit 99% more often. So then, we will start at the beginning. (By the beginning I mean scout)
A peice of old shoeleather (Scout)
There are three ways to use the pan on scout, the Small brain way, the Big brain way, and the Biggest brain way. Small brain is simply running at people with the pan out, everyone has done that before, it's how you choose to spice things up that counts. Big brain move is pairing the pan with a can of Crit-A-Cola, giving you minicrits for days, which will help for when the frying pan crit magic hasn't kicked in yet. Biggest brain approach, though? Douse your opponent in Mad Milk before going at it with the pan. This makes you almost unkillable as long as you're whacking away at a milked enemy. Still, whatever way you choose is probably best for your strategies.
Operation Soaring Eagle (Soldier)
Using the pan for soldier is a lot like using the stock shovel for soldier. In most cases, it is absolutely terrible. Fortunately, by equipping the Rocket Jumper and Manntreads, you can become a cheap, knockoff trolldier that uses random crits to win instead of skill. That's it, nothing else.
Flame Retardant (Pyro)
Using the pan on Pyro is a lot like using the Hot Hand. The epic strat is... thrust your way in with the Thermal Thruster and hope for the best. Much like soldier, you're relying a lot on the nearly 100% crit rate on the pan to prevail. That's not a lot, but there are no other weapons on pyro that can benefit from this.
What makes me a good Demopan? (Demoman)
The frying pan is god tier on demoman. No doubt. The OG strategy for this is to go with the Booties, and the Tide Turner, allowing for maximum turn and health. Although any other sheild works too, having the instant recharge on kill is great for the hit-and-run strategy that makes this loadout so amazing. The mini-crit downside of the tide turner is supplimented by the frying pan's ridiculous crit rate, so there is not need to worry there. Honestly, this thing was made for demo.
POOTIS SANDVICH BIRD (Heavy)
Much like soldier and pyro, heavy is very simple to make a pan strat for. Buffalo Steak, that's all I say. This slab of raw meat will give you a massive speed boost and guaranteed mini-crits. Once again, the mini-crits supplement the pan's crit rate. The melee lock is nothing either, cause I doubt that you're going to switch off the pan after the steak ends, it's a freaking frying pan, so much more useful than a minigun.
Texas YEEHAW man (Engineer)
The frying pan is not currently equippable on engineer. If it ever is, or ever will be, I will update this.
MEEEEEEDIIIIIIC (Medic)
Here it come, here it comes... ... Array7

Anyone? Anyone at all?
Okay okay... It's not exactly usable for that joke. The Array7 loadout means that you use the Blutsauger, and I assume that is not the case here. use anything OTHER than the blutsauger for this one, you want that regen. Actually, why would you even use the pan like this on Medic? I mean... it would be funny as hell but... why?
Filthy Jar Mann (Sniper)
Step One: Douse in Jarate
Step Two: Swing pan
Step Three: ???
Step Four: Profit.
Tuxedo Terrorist (Spy)
The pan is not currently equippable on spy. When it is, I will update this like with engineer.
Endtroduction
So... that's it. I didn't think you'd make it this far... um... See that picture below? Yeah, have that, it's your reward for gaining all this knowledge.
Adios!
