Codename CURE All Classes Guide
By ModdedMarionette
Hello! Welcome to my guide on every class in Codename CURE! The reason I decided to write this guide is because I see a lot of new players who picked a class and do what that class is NOT good at and did not use the most out of the class and doomed the team. Yes, it is that important if you do not play your class right. At least in my opinion.
Also, this guide is purely based on my own experience (And I have not read any other guides at all yet). It is POSSIBLE that someone has a completely different opinion than mine. This guide is only a GUIDE not a list of INSTRUCTIONS that tells you what to do. You can always play the class in whatever way you want, these are just some suggestions on how you can play in different ways with different classes.

Zombies (Not a class)
No this is not a class... Just to give you the knowledge of what zombies are there. If you played the game for awhile you should have easily learned them all because what they do are obvious. But I will put them here anyway because they will be mentioned a lot in this guide.

Walker zombies:
These zombies are spawned on your path. They are weak and they are slow. They are the easiest to deal with unless somehow somewhere you let a lot of them surround you. They should not be difficult to deal with.

Runner zombies:
These zombies are same as the Walker zombies except they run! Which is a pretty big deal. Why? First of all, a LOT of them will spawn during a horde. Second of all, because of their speed and advantage in number, they can easily surround you. If they do, you are dead. (One tactic of freeing yourself or others who are in the same situation is to use a frag grenade. If you are not low on health, you should be able to endure the self-damage.) They are a big deal but if the firepower is strong enough, they should not cause too much of a problem.

Soldier zombies:
These zombies are big deal. They look like soldiers just like you but infected. They are even slower than walker zombies but they have massive health. What is even worse is that they hit really hard! So get rid of them as fast as possible if you are the kind of class that can do so fast and easy (which will be explained in this guide) or simply you are not busy with anything else. Because they can shred your team apart really quickly if they get close to your team.
Pointman
This is the only class that has a higher speed than other classes, and the only class who has an auto-shotgun.

Your job should be scouting the path ahead of your team. However, that does not mean you should go speedrunning. Stick close to your team because you need your team and your team also needs you.

Your auto-shotgun can clear a group of zombies fast, that means you are pretty good at clearing a path. But make sure you do not go gun-blazing because not only it might waste your ammo, it is also not as effective. You can shoot whenever needed but reload whenever you have a chance, even if it is just a few seconds. You can shoot while you are reloading because it's a shotgun. If done correctly, your firepower will be constant which helps your team A LOT.

Your shotgun can also kill a Soldier zombie fast and easy. If you have a Sniper on your team and somehow he did not do his job and kill the Soldier zombie when it was far or the Soldier zombie simply spawned right next to you, you can quickly get rid of the Soldier zombie because they are a big deal! Only do this if the Soldier zombie is inside your shotgun range, for obvious reasons.

Your secondary weapon would be dual pistols. You can use them when you do not want to waste your primary's ammo when there are only a few walker zombies around and they are not in a group.

There is another thing you can do with your shotgun, which is quickly freeing your teammate when he is surrounded by zombies. Please do so if you see that happening, because most likely they will not survive that kind of an attack!

Your third weapon, more like throwables, are frag grenades. They can be pretty useful to clear a large gap in the zombies if you want to prevent your team to be surrounded or just simply need a path fast. Use them when there are just too many zombies and your auto-shotgun cannot take care of them all. (In case you do not know, class abilities and throwables are used by clicking middle mouse. A.k.a, your Mouse3.)
Support
You! Yes, you! YOU ARE A BIG DEAL!

What does it mean if you have a good Support player on your team? It means you will not have to worry about running out of your primary ammo anymore. Is that a big deal? OBVIOUSLY YES. Some classes are even useless without their primary ammo. So if you take care of ammo supply, your team will really appreciate that.

Neither of your weapons are designed for you to be aggressive: A MP5K and a pistol. They are more of a self-defense weapon but if your team is good, you should not be worrying about using your weapons most of the time. You should not be the one that stands in the front and trying to kill zombies. Your survival is critical to your team. Stay behind your teammates. You are not being a coward, you are being smart.

If your weapons are not important, then what is? Obviously, your supply chest. (I will mention it one last time, to use your ability or throwables, press middle mouse/Mouse3.) Your supply chest has the ability to heal you and your teammates' shield and health. This is useful when you have an injured teammate falling behind and they need some health real fast to speed up. (You might have already noticed, lower health means lower speed. Which also means higher chance of death.) This ability is indeed useful but not as useful as the ability to resupply ammo. You might be surprised how often you will run out of ammo in this game as the power classes.

Use your supply chest whenever there is a point to defend, or simply forced to stay at an area. (For example, an elevator.)

But sometimes you do need to stop supplying your teammates. Whenever you hear no more ammo resupplying sound and all your teammates are at full health (not necessarily full shield), pick your supply chest back up. This is because health and ammo are more important than shield. Health is critical to your speed and ammo is critical to your team's survival. The main source of shield should be pick-ups.

In case you do not know, your teammate's nametag above their head indicates their health. How? If your teammate is full health, the nametag is completely green. If your teammate is close to death, the nametag would be red. Meaning that if your teammate has half of his health, the nametag would look like brown-ish color.

You can also check the leaderboard by pressing TAB and you can see their EXACT health under the "status" column.

(Support class used to be a "cheat" class. Because the supply chest used to have no health and zombies only try to walk around it instead of trying to destroy it. This means if you only have one entryway for the zombies and it's not that wide, you can place a supply chest and you are forever safe. The developers might have noticed that because they updated the game and patched this exploit by giving the supply chest health so it can be destroyed.)
Assault
You are a pretty big deal if played correctly. You should be the team's main damage output. The official description of this class says "mow down everything in your path." They were not kidding.

Your primary weapon is an assault rifle that has a 65-round clip and good damage. It is really good for clearing a path for your team, but of course, a good Pointman player will do a better job. Whenever there is a horde coming, your team's survival will depend on you. You have the ability to delete a large group of zombies with only one clip. That's a lotta damage.

The reason why Assault is better than Pointman when it comes to defense is because OH MY GOD 65-round clip is MASSIVE ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Your secondary is a pistol. You can use it whenever you do not feel like using your Primary ammo, since your Primary ammo are indeed important to not only yourself, but also your team's survival.

Your throwables are also frag grenades like Pointman. Like I said, use them on whatever you feel like not even your powerful primary can take care of.

If you have a good Support player on your team, you should be able to no longer worry about your primary ammo and spray those rounds onto the horde.

If you have another good Assault teammate on your team you two can create a powerful combo because he can cover you when you are reloading, and you can do the same when he is reloading, creating a "you-shall-not-pass" barrier.
Technician
Your sentry is pretty useful for your team. But there is one mistake that new players make, that is making the sentry to do all the work.

Your primary weapons is a pump shotgun. It is pretty powerful weapon. But of course, it is nothing compared to the power classes' weapons.

Your secondary weapon is a pistol. Which also is not that much of a big deal compared to other weapons.

Now let's get to the important part of Technician, the sentry.

You have to use the sentry correctly in order to use the most out of it. A lot of new players like to place the sentry ahead of the whole team and have it do all the work. DO NOT DO THAT! Not only the sentry is not very good at that. When it dies, your sentry will also be gone for the rest of the game! (But of course, you get it back when you respawn)

What you should do, is place the sentry besides your team, so it can be a powerful backup with aimbots when things get out of control. What your sentry can also do is to alert your team when danger approaches while your team is unaware of it.

Just make sure of one thing, don't let your sentry do all the works because it is more fragile than you think. Place it somewhere for BACKUP purpose only. Let Assault do all the work instead...

There is ONE way you can place your sentry in a offensive position. You see, many new players do not realize that the sentry's range is actually massive. If you place your sentry where it can see the majority of the zombies when they were far far away, you just got the majority of the zombies deleted. Only do this when you are confident enough that the zombies cannot easily get close to the sentries. Whether it is far enough or your team have enough firepower to cover it.
Sniper
As a Sniper, you can either be extremely useful, or completely useless. (That might sounds too extreme. But Sniper must be used correctly in order to be useful)

Your job is simple, but a lot of new players do not do their jobs as a Sniper and doomed the whole team. But before we get to that, let's talk about the weapons.

Your primary weapon is a semi-auto sniper rifle that can penetrate ALL zombies. That means it is pretty easy to kill multiple zombies at once since your sniper rifle is semi-auto. It also deals massive damage, we will get to that later.

Your secondary weapon is a pistol. It should be more of a close-combat weapon because your sniper rifle is much more useful when killing long/medium-range targets.

Your throwables are incendiary grenades. It does not really kill as much zombies as you think but it does drain zombies' health fast, which makes you and your team kill them much faster and efficiently.

So, what should you do to be that "extremely useful" Sniper instead of the "completely useless" one? FOCUS ON SOLDIER ZOMBIES. You can kill one with only about 4 shots!

True, you can kill multiple zombies with one bullet. So what? If you do not take care of the Soldier zombie before they come close to your team, your team will be forced to focus on the Soldier zombie, which makes a lot of Runner zombies approach your team face-to-face. Doing some fancy shots does not worth your team's survival.

Make sure you kill the Soldier zombies before they even show their faces to your team, because you are the only one that can do that. Pointman can also quickly kill Soldier zombies but he uses a shotgun! You should not expect a Pointman to snipe the Soldier zombies with a shotgun!

But of course, if there are no Soldier zombies at all, feel free to do some fancy shots :)
Conclusion
Pointman:
You are good at clearing a path and freeing your teammate that is surrounded by zombies.

Support:
You play an important role to keep your team alive by supplying those precious ammo.

Assault:
Main damage output. If played correctly, zombies cannot get close to your team.

Technician:
A powerful backup.

Sniper:
Take care of dangerous threats before they even reach your team.
My personal preferred team combo
1 Support:
Keep the shooting going.

1 or 2 Assault:
So zombies cannot easily get close to your team.

None or 1 Pointman:
Would be nice if someone can clear a path so everyone can move quickly. Also can take care of Soldier zombies in case the Sniper missed one or they spawned next to your team.

1 Sniper:
No Soldier zombies allowed.

(Some community servers increased the maximum players that can be in the game)
Thank you for reading this guide!
Again, like I said, this is not a you-must-do-this list. This is just a guide to help you finding the best way to play your class. Maybe you can play a class in a completely different way that is also helpful for your team.

I hope this guide can help you become the MVP of the team, and help you find the correct way to have fun with this game!
