Almost everybody I have seen goes through the hole in the barbed wire and goes into the alleyway. While this gets you to the mission area faster, I find it to be riskier, even if you deploy a flare.

If this method works for you, nothing is stopping you from continuing to do it.

Skydiving is always an option too.

The first thing you should do is steal or spawn any Santa Blanca vehicle.

There is a truck parked South of the truck depot that you can steal, but be aware of the single guard protecting it. This truck will only spawn during this mission.

Next, you should drive the truck (or any SB vehicle) to the gate. The gate should automatically open and you can drive right in. This will play some unique dialogue with your AI teammates.

Be careful not to get too close to any patrolling guards, and don't even think about running them over. This may require you to sit in place for a little while depending on your luck.

Once you're through the first gate, keep driving down the road to a second gate. Again, this should open automatically.


After you pass this gate, take a left and park anywhere in the area shown below.

Exit the vehicle and move to a position where you can fire a flare at the general area shown below. Don't try to line up your shot to perfectly match my white circle.

Firing the flare will attract every guard in the base to where you fired it. This will clear out the room that the intel is located in so you can sneak in and photograph it.

With all the enemies at the front of the warehouse, you can sneak in through the back door.
Move past the generator and through the building with the garage. This will put you right outside the back door.



Once inside the building, turn left and move to the document room.

There shouldn't be any guards left in this part of the building, but be ready if there are some stragglers.

The documents are located on a desk on the Northern wall of the room. Interact with them.

Once the documents are secure, go back the way you came until you reach where your vehicle is parked. Don't use it to get out. Instead, you will be taking these bikes.

Before you drive out of there, there will be two guards in your way. One of them is a heavy who patrols around the area and the other is a standard enemy in a bunker. You can shoot them yourself or take them out with AI sync shot. I wouldn't risk riding the motorcycle past them.

Once the guards are taken out, you are home free. Take one of the motorcycles and use the ramp to jump out of the base.
