1) Open video settings
2) Turn frame skip completely off

Works in full screen and windowed.

the "instabilities" it causes are negligible. this isnt an old game issue its just how the game was made. i assume some physics and other stuff use frame based physics instead of delta time

You guys got to remember terraria is a 2011 game, the engine used is quite old and isn’t like other engines that don’t have this issue such as unity or unreal

No no bayeralis is right

Many things in terraria are bound with the fps which is why terraria is fps locked to 60, anything higher can cause instabilities

They’re not raging, they’re stating notes that everyone should know

just don't, this game is fixed to 60FPS. Even if you manage to get higher framerates, it will eighter break your game and make it work odd or you will not notice any difference at all.

If you ever play any game that does not allow you to play over 60FPS, do not try to unlock your fps.
