Omschrijving
Draconis is a violet dwarf star, blanketed in a thick layer of fast moving dust clouds, and a set of bright rings on its outer edge.
This celestial body is not for the inexperienced player to venture onto, with its lack of atmosphere, intense gravity and lack of visibility, Draconis will test even the most experienced player's ability.
The gravity on Draconis is 4.6, which tapers off to a range of over 50km from the surface (you're going to need some thrust).
Draconis is quite rich in Uranium deposits, and in fact, that is the only ore that can be found on the dying star.
The surface is composed of solid hydrogen, and can be converted to H2 fuel with an added "Pure Hydrogen Generator" block.

Surface Gravity: 4.6
Atmosphere: False
Oxygen: False
Size: 30km
Ores: Uranium, H2
Gravity Well: >50km

Found an issue where this mod causes turbines to stop working on other planets. Not sure why this would be, but after extensive testing, the moment this planet is spawned in, all turbines halt.

Hey there @Schrodinger4 I was wondering if I could get permission to use this for a server cluster I work on and if possible, permission to re-upload with some modified values, complete with all credits and links to the originals of course!
Thanks!

Done and done mate!

btw u should probably credit @doctoroctoganapus https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/doctoroctoganapus because he's the one who made the ring.

@Apothicon, Hi mate, Therno was actually my inspiration for Draconis, I did use some of the SBC files to create it for use in a server I help run. Only after I posted it I seen Zeuitor and realised how similar they look lol.
Happy to throw up a link to your planet along with credit!

lol when i first saw this i thought it was my gas giant i made a few months ago that looks almost identical besides for a slight color and scale difference.

dear lord i wish id read that it has like 5x gravity by the time you get close to surface lol

The clouds are purely for aesthetic purposes.

Draconis is meant to somewhat resemble a dying violet dwarf star, with thick clouds of gas and dust, which is a little limited in the sense of what space engineers offers for modding.

Technically, to get the relative fog to work, it has the atmosphere enabled, but the density is set to basically zero so no turbines or atmospheric vessels will work, together with no oxygen.

wait, so it has no oxygen, right?

or are ya saying it literally has no atmosphere, even tho it has clouds?
