o wat mis ik die mooi oude gado bussen die er bij mij in Groningen hebben gereden

@fbergsma mee eens, maar ik ben helaas niet iemand die modellen maakt. Voor de hobby maak ik zo zeer af en toe een "reskin" van een bestaand model. Gelukkig kwam deze bus voorbij en kon ik het niet laten daar de reskins van te maken. Het was puur bedoeld voor mezelf en ik deel het met de rest die er maar belang bij heeft.

Nederlandse vrachtwagens ontbreken nog van vroeger tot nu zie totaal geen NL vrachtwagens

de gele van de gado ziet er op den duur er niet uit net als of er fout in zit

BBA VEONN VSL RET zelfs ARRIVA was er zijn allemaa MB200 streekbussen

@Soya Perhaps how you could see it: Oppiesc already made a very good model, but with standard textures and no weathering. His version is perhaps the best considering performance etc.

My mod focusses more on getting the best out of the model. Weathering, 4K textures and a complete new normal map made from scratch with added details.

I'm one of those gamers that likes to zoom in on the vehicles and just watch them for a while. Or driving firstperson and look at the traffic. Then, these textures come to the fore.

@Soya I'm afraid so mate. The original mod was about 100 mb. But there are two major differences:

- the original by Oppiesc had no weathering textures
- the original textures were in 2K, mine are in 4K

The old version had about 21 mb per bus - that would've been 25/26 mb if weathering was included. Mine however are 100 mb per bus. Combine that fact with the fact that my repaint has more then double the amount of buses, then 1200 mb is not that strange.

4K textures really show detail. With these textures you could zoom in quite a lot and still read "Den Oudsten-DAF" on the front. When the bus is dirty, it still looks realistic when up close.

It is up to you if its worth it of course.
