what if qbby is rival

Qbby from the BOXBOY! series joins the fight in Rivals of Aether! Use your boxes to do cool combos, then finish off the opponent! (Thanks to Muno for coding Up Special.)





Up Special: Qbby uses the block-slide mechanic from the game. Input directions while special is down to add a block, then release special to move along the path you created! Alternatively, press Parry/Airdodge to drop a block at the end of the trail.

Neutral Special: Qbby creates a block in front of him. Using this move while a block is out will cause it to disappear.

Forward Special: Qbby dashes forwards like he's a block being thrown. This move also causes the block to move forward, and if the block hits the other player, Qbby can cancel the attack into something else!

Down Special: Qbby makes the block boost into the air like a Rocket Box. This move also has a small hitbox on Qbby that can be used as a combo tool.



This mod supports the follow character interactions:
-TCO art
-otto bobblehead
-a full set of abyss runes (abyss rune buddy)
-abyss mode runes

oh my god, i literally played the demo for the first boxboy game 5 years ago i think, glad to see the funni cube with legs have a chance to be in roa lol

Could you make his FStrong more clearly telegraphed? It's difficult to visually identify. Maybe instead of just sitting, he could be tipping forward and then he'd fall forward just as the blocks come out for FStrong.
