Description
Greetings!

This model is based on a gothic city hall from Toruń, Poland.
A Toruń's clock model is required for this asset.

According to what I found in the Internet;

Gothic city hall of Toruń mostly maintained its original look, although was subjected to many redevelopments in the past.

History of the hall we see today started around year 1274, when Toruń was part of the Teutonic Order State. Back then the beautiful gothic tower was built.

Most of the building's shape comes from around year 1385, when its structure reached more-less size we see today. In the same period, the tower was also made a bit taller.
Originially, the ground floor was dedicated for merchants' stalls and court rooms, while the upper floor hosted administrative offices.

Around year 1600 a redevelopment by a Flemish architect Anton van Obberghen took place. The hall got one additional floor and some mannierist towers at every corner of the building and tops on every side.
Interestignly, this redevelopment wasn't destructive for an original gothic shape of the building, acute red brick arches were made longer to cover the new floor.

The city hall was severly damaged during a siege in year 1703 and later repaired by year 1735, though some elements including mannierist tops and huge chunks of decorations inside were lost for ever.
Later on, in the XIXth century a gothic-revival decorations were added on one side of the building and also currently existing electric clocks were installed at the top of the tower.

The city hall also has the oldest preserved collection of paitings of Polish kings, though some of these were lost during the siege of 1703.

Gothic was prevalent in entire Europe during the High Middle Ages, but its form varied in different regions.
In Toruń, gothic buildings were erected from bricks and this material provides completely different aesthetic impressions than stone.

Size 7x7, monument.
All stats the same as a standard monument City Hall, except the building has no restrictions of availability.

City Hall Torun in game.

@Bow-Tied Engineer, sorry, rather not planning making any clock towers now and in nearest future

You thinking of doing more clock towers, either stand alone or just buildings that have them? I really like having clock towers in my cities, but there are only a couple dozen on the workshop, most of which are fairly small, and I run out of distinct clocktowers around halfway through making a city.

@Ganliard, yes I also wish it had the gothic roof, unfortunately it burnt down during a siege in 1703 and I think it's highly unlikely it will be ever restored in real-life building. I was considering including the roof in my model according to this http://www.toruntour.pl/upload/image/wiezaratuszowasteiner.jpg but the existing today version won.

Wonderful, but I wish it had the original gothic roof on the tower
