This map was made for the SFM video "A Pair of Moronic Mercenaries 3", both by yours truly. And as promised, I'm now uploading it for others to use as well!

REQUIREMENTS:

*An up-to-date installation of Team Fortress 2 mounted and enabled
*Two brain cells

FEATURES:

*A fairly large space-themed map with several rooms and areas, such as a reactor chamber, conference room, hydroponics and much more.
*More than enough space (pun not intended) to build your own sets and scenes. You can also add your own skybox elements, for if you want to be somewhere else than Moon.
*Full SkyPaint functionality, with a default preset already in place.
*Ground AI nodes that HL2 NPCs will use to move around the map.
*Named doors and dynamic props you can control with console commands! See below for details.
*A high skybox.
*All doors and such have been Physgun-proofed to avoid accidents. You CAN edit/remove them with toolgun, though.
*A chroma keying ready green screen in the conference room. You can change the screen as you please with Color and Material tools.
*A map icon for quick identification.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

*If surfaces appear too bright for you, change your HDR/Bloom settings to compensate.
*If you'd prefer to get rid of the metallic reflections (cubemaps), use the console command "mat_specular 0" (without quotes). It will remain in effect until the game is restarted or you enable them using "mat_specular 1".

Have fun, and report any issues you might find!

ADVANCED STUFF
---------------------------

WARNING: This bit is somewhat more complicated, and mostly intended for film makers. If you don't know how console commands work and what you're doing, DO NOT USE THESE COMMANDS! I take no responsibility if you manage to mess something up due to not meeting the second requirement described earlier.

ENTITY LIST AND CONSOLE COMMANDS:

You can remotely operate the doors and change some props animations using console commands. Here's how:

To open/close a door, type "ent_fire [door entity name] toggle", without quotes.

Door entity list:

door_airlock_ext
door_airlock_int
door_confroomsouth
door_confroomnorth
door_powerplant
door_missileroom
door_command
door_hydro_upper
door_hydro_lower
door_warehouse

To change a dynamic prop's animation "ent_fire [prop entity name] setanimation [animation]", again without quotes.

Prop list (available animations, * indicates default):

prop_fan_powerplant (idle, spin*)
prop_turbine (spin*)
prop_fan_hydro (idle, spin*)
prop_fan_ext (idle, spin1*, spin2, spin3)
prop_energy (idle*)

For example, if you want to toggle the command center door, type "ent_fire door_command toggle" into your console.
Similarly, if you want to stop the hydroponics fan completely, use "ent_fire prop_fan_hydro setanimation idle".
You can also hide/unhide any of the entities with "ent_fire [entity name] disable/enable".

You can also bind any of those commands to a key for on-the-go use. The console command format is "bind [key] "[command]"". Note that the inner quotation marks ARE necessary! So for example, you can use "bind b "ent_fire door_airlock_ext toggle"" to open/close the exterior airlock door by pressing the B key.

WARNING: Do not bind any console commands to keys already used by the game (such as WASD)! Doing so may mess up your controls.

You can clear a keybinding with "unbind [key]".

Long story. Check this Wikipedia article about chroma keying (AKA green screen): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chroma_key

You need to have TF2 installed and mounted and enabled. Check the controller icon at the bottom of the main menu.
