Possibly the hardest part of the Boston Basher,is hitting someone. If you are bad at melee hitting. Then this possibly might help you. Predicting where you hit will actually help with every other Melee Weapons,aka Market Gardening,Demoknighting etc. It'll do about 30 Damage,and continuing with 4
health per second to the enemy you just hit. It is sort of like the Tribalman's Shiv,but without hitting yourself. You will not get damaged if you hit an Enemy. The Bleeding will also help against invisible spies. But you have to hit him first to find out where he is. DO NOT randomly hit out of nowhere to get an invisible spy,that only works on other weapons. Spies will become a Red Shade if you hit them and become invisible. I don't think that works with the Dead Ringer.

If you hit yourself, you just lost about 30 health,and decreasing because of bleeding. Go grab a health pack! Or a Medic has to come and heal you. Bleeding will hurt you alot (4 health per second). Grabbing health packs will instantly remove the Bleeding as soon as you get it. Medics will take a few seconds to remove your Bleeding. But thats part of the next part of this Guide.

Hurting yourself with the Boston Basher helps the Medic. It develops Uber faster than being healed without being hurt. This means that the Soldier,Demo,and any other class that can hurt THEMSELVES can help the Medic develop Ubercharge faster. Boston Basher possibly being the fastest because Scout has the fastest melee in game. So when you join a game,and theres a Medic,tell him to heal you because it developes Uber faster.

Boston Jumping is a useful strategy when you don't have an Atomizer,or FaN,or etc. Anything that helps jumping. It is a very useful strategy to use when you have a Medic/Medpack nearby to get to positions that are unreachable by Double Jumps,or etc.

Is the only useful thing for the Boston Basher is to build uber?
Yes! Using a melee weapon is not effiecient for Scout if you have a Pistol,or a Scattergun,which both do lots of damage.
