Midatlantic Edwardian Pack 3

Description
Every king deserves a castle, and this one can be yours!

I know what you're thinking - but Dudemeister, there are no other "Midatlantic Edwardian" Packs : ( And right(ish) you are, fellow Skyliner! However, this is due to my own ninnyhammering. The Midatlantic "Victorian" Packs that I had previously released were actually misnomers - those buildings were likelier built between 1895-1916ish, which corresponds more appropriately to the reign of King Edward VII (plus six years in each direction). My bad!!

Description

A set of 3 Progressive-Era buildings based on stock commonly found throughout Pittsburgh and nearby river towns. This will be the second-last Pittsburgh based home set I will be doing in the series. This set features the models in a 1x2 lot (or 1x1 in the case of the flat roofer) with no porch pathway/driveway (except the flat roofer) for maximum placement flexibility. If you're looking for a fully-decorated, large lot with paths, stay tuned for a secret project coming to you from Mr. Hockenheim in the near future....

Recommended Assets

Several Pdelmo assests (Regular Bush tiny, green), Beardmonkey assets (Wooden Fence 01 4m & 8m), SKF assets (concrete paths) and vanilla assets (benches, ac, pipes, etc) were used to decorate the lots, but not having these other assets will do no harm.

I should also note that many of my assets share textures, so if you have Loading Screen Mod, you'll see some decent load time savings.

Stats:

3x
Level 3 Residential
Tilesize: 1x2 (buildings bleed over into third tile - perfect for alleyways)
Build Time: 0
Build Cost: 0 (I think)
Color Variations: 4 ea (siding or brickwork mapped to change)
Main Models Tricount: 885/931/962
LOD Model Tricount: 68/32/60
Main Model Textures: 1024x1024 (texture sharing enabled with Loading Screen Mod)
LOD Model Textures: 128x128
Normal mapped, Specular mapped, Illumination mapped, Color mapped, LOD mapped (texture, illumination, color)

Enjoy!!

Hey pens, each asset has a similar filename: Midatlantic_Victorian_## or Midatlantic_Edwardian_##. You can also find them using the each terms "home" "detached" or "Pittsburgh." Easiest way to find them is to type "Mida" in FindIt! Not as sure about Theme Manager or RICO though....

@dudemeister what are these buildings called in-game? I'm having a hard time finding them in both the Theme Manager and RICO.

Good to hear! As for the (admittedly annoying) lot size problems... I have it on good authority that the guy behind BIG parking lots and BIG american roads is working on another BIG project that may or may not have 2x4, 3x4, 4x4 growable lot sizes of these assets for a more suburban look : ) Hang tight!

FWIW all of your assets are loading and working fine for me. The originals (level 3), and the clones, are all appearing in my District Style and growing in the district.

The only limitation I have is that I have to restrict them all to their own district (which is OK because the detached row house neighborhood style is pretty unique). Because of their "overhang , I can't really mix them in with my larger Turn-of-the-Century Low-Res District Style. Your buildings on the 1x1 lots overlap each other, or overlap other 1x1 buildings, particularly on corners. I also have to remember to leave extra space behind the 1x2 lots.

They make a great looking inner ring suburban neighbourhoods though -- a perfect transition between Rowhouse / Townhouse inner city streets and suburban housing on the larger lots.

Hey Junior, I'm not sure what could be causing the issue here. The assets are all named according to the scheme "Midatlantic_Victorian_XX" with XX being the number of the house. Is nothing showing up by me at all in Loading Screen Mod?

Anybody else seeing this problem? Only thingI can think of is that the assets are actually level 3, and won't appear until the conditions are met there. I recommend "Find It!" ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=837734529&searchtext=find+it ) to search for the assets individually using the search terms "home" and/or "Pittsburgh"

Thanks for giving me a heads up! I will do some further investigation.

hi i subscribed all of these house pack but i checked in the loading screen mode report it show that none of these asset were used even i zoned low residential a lot but none of it appeared do i have to use other mod or something to make it work ? thanks

Same issue -- when using Building Themes per District, all three packs show up as Level 3. I'd clone them for Levels 1-3 anyway, so it doesn't matter to me either way. But you might want to update the description.

I'll double check it ASAP, IDK. I think I used the same template for all, but it may have been the wrong one!

Thanks everyone for the support!

Hi i'm having an issue where all your assets are showing up as level 3 even though you state these are level 1. I don't know if anyone else is having this issue or if this may be for some reason pertaining to another mod.
