How to tweak framerate in BF3
By 🪻🧋Sylvie💮🍃
Simple go to this (Default) destination:C:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Battlefield 3
Right-Click your mouse button and click New, Text Document, and rename it "user.cfg".
Paste this command in user.cfg file: "gametime.maxvariablefps 1000"
Save the file and you should now be able to run unlocked framerate. And yes, you can adjust framerate target at anytime, anywhere.

Is there any way to force an aspect ratio? For example I'm trying to run the game in 1024x576 (16:9) resolution but the only 1024 resolution available in game makes it look wonky.

Set it to 0 for no fps limit
