Workaround Tip to launch the game

After spending hours for troubleshooting in order to launch the game, whether it's Campaign or Multiplayer, I found out that disabling 3rd-party app such as MSI Afterburner/RTSS seems to work, though I cannot promise that it may or may not work for everyone.

Game may launch white screen or stuck as "Initializing"

If the game launched with white screen, simply hold down Ctrl + Alt + Del Key on your keyboard to open up Task Manager, then navigate BF3.exe file and right-click the file to end task which will then close the app.

Install Punkbuster

Be sure to install Punkbuster

Battlelog

Be sure to enable "Use plugin-free game launching".

Disable 3rd-party apps

Some of you may use 3rd-party apps such as MSI Afterburner/RTSS, Wallpaper Engine, Razer Synapse, etc. which you may want to try disabling those 3rd-party apps to launch the game, whether it's Campaign or Multiplayer.

Sometimes, you have to sign out your Origin account and relogin again.

What do I do if I don't even have bf3.exe popping up when I select a server in battlelog?
