Some tips for In-Game Map Editor
By 1ureka
Some tips I learned and tried when I made the map. Because they are relatively basic, I’m sorry if they didn’t help you.

1. scale 1 to -1
In the In-Game Map Editor, some prefabs only provide one side, so if you want to release the prefabs on both sides, you can use the bar to scale it from 1 to -1.
For example:
Original:
later:

And if you only change the angle by 180 degrees, it will become like this:
2.Use coordinates
Using coordinates can help you perfectly combine different prefabs.
for example:
Form a house that can be placed on the hills
House 2x1 Orange
  • x:0
  • y:50
  • z:0
House No Interior Orange
  • x:0
  • y:45
  • z:0
House No Interior Orange
  • x:-8
  • y:45
  • z:0

Put the things you want to put together at x:0 z:0 and then copy the whole and move to the place you want. This way you can save the trouble of not being able to group objects together perfectly.
3.Blend texture
Use more than one texture to make the road or ground you draw more stereoscopic.
for example:
1.
The texture in the middle of this road is Sand (Beach)
and the texture of the recessed area is Gravel
2.
The texture of the airport runway on the way is a mixture of gravel and snow.
4.Spawn points
The setting of spawn points must be within the Protect range of the flag, but it can exceed the Capture Range and there is no height limit.
But these properties are directly tested by me, so if there is any mistake, please correct me.

You can use spawn points so that when you capture the flag, you will not be killed immediately by the newly born AI, and you can also create an airborne map.

Yo I'm having a hard time in the ingame editor coz my bots won't move. Its a beach assault map like Eddcast's Omaha Beach. I chose the oneway, water only config for the neighbors and they won't move. Any help?

The asset I use is the "Ruin Wall" in the menu "Ruins".
I connect them one by one because the ends of it shrink, so long as there is overlap at their ends, a long series of walls can be completed.
"Ruins wall end" in the menu "Ruins" will be placed at the end of the wall.
